Hi jjosemadam,
Microsoft publisher and or word has hidden characters. You should copy the entire publisher HTML to notepad, view it for the hiddden character, remove the additional characters and then recopy again then paste it in blogger.
When you do anything on Microsoft anything for that matter it will have hidden codes which are not recognizable in html scripting.
Hope this helps.

When you create any wording on Microsoft anything like the symbol & gets changed in html wording like [[**]] html does not recognize the hidden shortcut keys for certain symbols.
You can use them but if you start in a notepad it will not add the hidden symbols. Or again you can do them in Microsoft word/publisher but always copy/paste them to notepad to recognize the added lettering. Then recopy and paste to html.
