class of a player doesn't mean that he is useful.
sachin can give a good start but not a good finish

I have my reservations regarding that some might say SIR VIV RICHARD because he was true record machine and his attacking skills are still unmatched

Rahul dravid is a great batsman and i cant deny that... but he still is not anywhere close to sachin tendulkar... sachin tendulkar is so very awesome... Being just consistent is not enough... well i would say that after Don Bradman comes sachin tendulkar and after sachin, surely comes Rahul...

No way... Dravid is not even 10% of Don Bradman.. U can't compare between the legend with such a poor cricketer.. It is really the insult of Sir Don Bradman by comparing him with Dravid..
Just look at Dravid's current form man... He might have won matches for us... But the worst captain i have ever seen... He lacks good captaincy skills.. Just look at Ganguly's Captaincy record and compare the average no of wins with dravid's captaincy.. u will yourself know the results..
Sourav Ganguly is India's most successful Captain ever...
And after Don Bradman, there is only one player in Cricketing history who can be compared with him... and he is none other than the great Sachin Tendulkar.. He has the record of most number of runs in Test matches, most number of runs in ODI's, most number of Centuries in Both Test matches and ODI's... etc etc etc...
Dravid is way far far behind than Sachin..
Moreover when Dravid comes to Bat, he spoils the run-rate of our team..
he plays very slowly, and as a result, the required run rate increases and the other batsmen are under pressure to match up with the Run rate...
Thank God that India has players like Yuvraj, and Dhoni who can up the runrate at any time..
I personally feel that Dravid is only a good Test Player... But a poor one day cricketer and the worst Captain i have ever seen..
I feel that he should be permanently thrown out of the Indian team.. And he deserves to be dropped.. Just see that we won the 7th ODI against Australia when Dravid was dropped... He is a liability to the Indian team..
Sachin is no doubt the best batsman in the world... And Sir Don Bradman himself said that Sachin is a great player...

hussey has yet to prove, sachin has yet to win a tight match for us,ganguly has yet to prove his test playing ability, sanath is a huge 15 runs below average in tests though his strike rate is much better in ODI

never he is not at all a comparison to don. cause he domintaed the bowlers and dravid is a player whom the bowlers dominate and also he cannot win matches for you he is just the anchor. he is a fool and does not have the brains to change the game when you have different position and situation

sachin is a great player but not a useful player. All he has is runs and most of them where useless for the teams. Most of his centuries were against kenya, zimbabwe etc in important tours.

i dont think dravid is the right choice.i will prefer sachin because he has everything to be rated as best batsman after sir D.Bradman.He is the true classic and stylish player.he has max. record in world cricket.he is the best.

No he is not that good to be compaired with someone of DON BRADMANS calliber. In INDIA also Sachin is best so there is no chance of RAHUL DRAVID.Also Pointing Hussey Jaysuriya Bevan are too better than him.

As far as I'm concerned the Greatest Batsman that ever played the game of cricket was Graeme Pollock who has the third highest batting average after Bradman and Hussey, among batsmen who have played in at least 20 tests.

Yes i will go with you.Look at Tendulkar's stats. He has about 28,000 runs put together in both forms of the game. Now look at dravid's.He has about 21,000 runs in both form.Sachin made his debut in 1989 and Dravid in 1996.Now tell me if Dravid had joined the Indian cricket team in 1989 what would have been his stats? Please tell me.Dravid is more consistent than Tendulrkar. So Dravid should be treated with respect what he deserves.

no i dont think so there are many mainly sachin after him lara,ponting,jayasuraya.....etc
I think sachin is the best batsman because though he has played more than 300 matches till now his averege, strike rate, ranking doesnt decreased

I dont think rahul can be compared with bradman.Still rahul is not up to the level. He is missing aggressiveness and he cant be compared with any other cricketer.
