I didn't believe much about this movie, I always thought the documentary was a fake but then I hear one of the guys that were murdered's BROTHER to tell the story. I couldn't believe that was real. I never believed a curse, or a haunting spirit can really touch us or do any harm but it seems the Blair Witch is really the real thing. Years ago a killer was found with 7 kids in his home, until then fine, just a coincidence, he lives in the same city of the witch but okay. What police find next is that AN OLD LADY told him to do that!!!!

I have heard it was real and was often frightening during he movie. It really looked pretty scary and would have hated to be around that during the time of occurrence. Although the movie was censored a bit it sure gives you a glimpse of what happened.

That was so many buzz about this movie, and yet I never watched, the moving of camera can really make me sick, I don't think I'll watch cause I never could these types of movies, recordings.

it isn't true. all of the actors are alive and well as far as I know. or at least I know they were at the time the film was released. it is a fake documentary, in the style of other "found footage" films. other examples are Cloverfield and Paranormal activity. both also works of fiction.

It is a fake documentary which also makes me think of The Amityville Horror. The book was written as "true" but the story was really fake. In that case, there were murders committed in the house, but all of the hauntings claimed by the people living there were never seen by later occupants.

Really? I never knew that. I always wanted to see the film, but was always unsure about whether it would freak me out too much or not. I do not really like horror movies much, but that did appeal to me. I have still never seen it though.
