Hi everyone... This is my lady no 5. Hope your support will help me to continue this series as you have supported earlier. She was in love with a guy for almost 12 years and decided to get marry last year with the consent of both families. The day was 24 january, 2010. The bride's family was lower middle class and had to suffer a lot while arranging the marriage where as groom's family was upper middle class. Here, the groom has to come to bride's home at night and after some rituals the priest ties them on a divine relationship. That night, the entire family of bride was waiting for groom's coming... but a news hit them at that very moment... the groom has absconded away with a different girl to somewhere... Oh, no. what can that family do then? the bride has fainted and her parents and relatives become heart broken all at sudden... totally helpless... then a guy come out from the invitees of bride's family... and he eagerly said to her parents that he wish to marry her.. after a long discussion... the marriage is over and both are happy now. I don't know the girl and his lover... but this boy was my close friend in my university life. I met him with his bride after some months of his marriage which made me angry not for calling me to his marriage. He politely explained what happened. It really made me proud to be his friend and i congratulate them and offered my wishes for their happy married life. But i get shocked when i knew it from him over phone that he loved that girl from his childhood secretly and never dared to expose it to anyone...but finally he has met his love... Perhaps it is called... LOVE NEVER DIES AND MARRIAGES ARE BORN IN HEAVEN. Your comment please. Thanks in advance.

I felt pity on this lady Shibham, as you said that she was in love with him for the last 12 years and she could not understand his real character till the date on their marriage. However, she is lucky that is why she got a guy who sincerely loves her and I am sure he will love her in the whole life. Your friend’s love seems to be very sincere and honest so God wanted to unite them. Beset of luck to both of them.

Hi sree... Hidden character suddenly comes out.... i think she was too more polite... and had no doubt on him as its said that love is blind. Yes, he was too much silent and thoughtful at that time, hence his sincerity was grown up... @ didi and Sree... how much time you will stay hugging each other?

Beautiful indeed and if one reads between the lines there is a great deal of romance there. I do believe marriages are made in heaven and anyone blessed with having been married is certainly well off. Although I am divorce now shibham I truly wanted my marriage to work. Unfortunately my ex did not and well I also believe heaven understands that it was best to take my route. Simply because he was a dangerous man and both my children and I needed saving.

Hi HWG... You have really made me sad telling the fact that you are divorced. There may be some reason but a life with beloved one is quiet hard to survive. I think before taking the decision... you thought a lot.. and thats why i can say that you have taken the right decision. Have a nice day.

hi shibham! wow! you have lots of great posts that i missed during the time of my absence here in mylot. anyway, its a shame for the first guy but to act like that but on the other hand its better that it happens before the marriage, atleast they were saved from a terrible marriage if they got married and realized that they don't really love each other and that they want to be with someone else. no matter how painful the experience was, it still open a door for better opportunity and for a better person, a better love and life for the girl. i'm glad that she is finally with the right guy for her and that true love do really exist.

Hi ckyera.. thanks and its nice to see your contributions. You are true that almighty god has rescued her and showed her the right path. Me also think what would happen if it occur after marriage. But here is a lady to come who was treated the same as you have described and became insane. Yes, i am also happy with their bond and always wish their great future. have a great day.

Hi Shibham, A peculiar Hindi masala film sequence. Wow what an ending, the hero elopes with the girl friend and an unknown character come up to show all his generosity and they live happily ever after. I know similar incidences happening. In most cases it is the girl/bride who flees and the groom marries somebody else, not necessarily that night itself but later on. Suppose I have been invitd to such marriage and if I am there till the bride groom arrives and if he the hell does not come what shall I do? I am already married and even if the bride is beautiful and virtuous I will be in dilemma. Still I will ring my wife and if she consents I would take her home and .....

Hi Boss... A script or story writer picks up the story for a movie from real life as they dont live in a separate planet. I don't think Bhabi will permit you take her to your home. I am damn sure... so, your helpful hand never works here. Please don't mind Have a great day always.

Hi didi.. Sounds like fairy tales... i really got surprised when i heard it from him. I had no belief on destiny before but his life forces me to think a lot. I don't know whether she was betrayed for financial reason or not? May be the guy had the affair with that girls equally... even more than her. i have said that your prince is here... why you are too late in coming India? Take care.

That is a very nice story, and what a blessing for the family. I can't imagine the shame and embarrassment they would have suffered otherwise. Why did that guy agree to this marriage in the first place, go through all this planning and then bow out of it to leave her there amongst her family and friends?

I think the first one was a perverted mind.... and my friend had done his work and proved how much he loved her... at least the girl did not know that... but later she knew. It seems like a fiction but its a true story. i hope you will visit my lady no7. Thanks for your interest on this series. take care.

I did not mean to imply it was made up. I still cannot understand the reason the first one left her, the reason for the wedding party in the first place. It is a very sweet gesture, and I hope they are both truly happy together. That is a very kind man to wait for her, and even show up at her wedding ceremony. Unbeknownst to him, HE was the groom instead of a guest!

Hiya Shibs, No wonder she fainted with all the "nerves" that she must have been going through with the arrangements all the tension must have got to her. Me too I would at feel at the very least a bit light headed myself. You imagine that you are going to Marry a Man that you have had in your Mind for ages and then he does not turn up. However what an ending the other Man who has always truly loved her marries her and they are both now very happy. Truly a Story worthy of a Film or to immortalized into a Book. So happy that she is happy too the poor Girl what a to do. Imagine having to go through all that and then find out you have had a secret admirer all along all that time. A secret admirer that probably by the look of it did not dare to say anything out of respect. Anyway they are both happy and that has made me feel happy as well. Nice Story Shibs well done.xxx Like this one as well as all the others.

One can't help but feeling for a lady stood up at the alter. But what a save, a night in shining armour right there waiting for his chance. How cool. Did the family of the guy that jilted the bride stick around for her wedding? After all they were friends for a long time.

Hi shelly. You may be right here. No, he is not a chance sucker, he did it for the sake of the bride and family and both families were ready for that relationship. have a nice day.

Hello amigo! Oh my,am late again, lol! I do believe in the saying IF YOU'RE MEANT TO BE,YOU'RE MEANT TO BE. I guess lady no. 5 is really meant for your friend, and she deserves him. God gave her a better man so she should be greatful. Maybe,if the marriage pushed through with the first man,she might have a miserable married life since he has another woman. Your friend must be so happy that he was able to marry the woman he loves from his childhood. Nice love story my friend, unbelievable!
