Tsunami, shouts there is God, You agreed??

hi to all
well, today I watch Tsunami earthquake hitting japan & its rate 8.9 on rector scale, Some days ago an Japanese Atheist guys convinced me, There is no God in world & everything exists in this world by Science & technology, But today I am shocked, when I see Earthquake Video, Remember, Japan is 2-3 on worlds economy Rankings & 1st or 2nd On Science & Technology Ranking wise, But I am Simply shocked, when I see these peoples have no power to overcome on earth quake, they are simply helpless they have no power at all, Now this Earth quake Shouting in my brain, THERE IS GOD, THERE IS GOD, No Science & Technology saves you when he orders for Earth quakes, do you agreed??? At last I am very sorry for my english & bad grammar,

Science and technology is very deceptive. It makes us believe that they can do anything but against the forces of nature they fail miserably. Keep your faith in god, even if we die God can give us life again.

There is no amount of science and technology that would be able to keep people safe from a natural disaster. Yes, the Japanese government is somewhat prepared for this kind of thing, but still there has been a loss of power and access as a result of this disaster. However, I don't think that there will ever be any place in the world that is able to get through a natural disaster like that without some kind of ramifications.

OF course there is God. Calamities and Catastrophes were just reminder that there is God. Only in His hands we are safe. It's only partial. Worst thing will come. Yes, Technology have nothing and never stop it. Yes, there are warnings but still nobody can stop it...There is God and only He give us freedom to choose also there are forces of evil that wants to steal and destroy humankind.so, that;s y idea and view of what's happening these days... God bless.....and be safe always.....

Yes, He is the ruler of the earth, universe and we can't question that. I'm sorry mentalward about your family. But sufferings in this world is only temporary. What matters is eternal. Judgement is for everybody. And can't definition of good is different from the men. Only God knows about the entire being of a person. God looks on the heart while man on the outside. There are always reason of the suffering that we've been through. It's not God who kills it's the enemy Satan. He wants to destroy mankind and it makes people blame it all to God. Yes, He created us and He is powerful and can do whatever He wants. He has plans for everything. On other hand, He gave us freedom. Remember, what matters is eternal and not this temporal life on this earth.....Most of the catastrophe or calamities were also the effect of mankind doing. Because of our stubbornness and will dependent. We want to prove something. Even, some wants to prove that they are powerful than God. For the wages of sin and the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hello, i don't want to join the religious part of the discussion, because i believe such kind of discussions end with misunderstanding and sad people at the end.
I'm from Bulgaria and in the early morning me and my boyfriend watched in youtube what happened in Japan. I was so sorry to watch such videos, i don't think someone in this world deserve that kind of things to happen to him.
I saw right now that facebook games are planning donations after the earthquake and i'm really happy. I also read last day that our government will send fire mans there, not bit group of people, but i hope they will be useful, as much as they have knowledge. I hope that Japan will recover really soon.

Yeah, atheist should definitely note on these that there is God. And that he is truly watching us. That no matter how advanced our ideas and technologies are, we are still in the brick of destruction.

It's true,no matter how high are those technologies Japan has created and invented,still,they were not able to detect when does natural calamities strikes.
This only proves that,there is power beyond human knowledge.

Hi,
I do believe that GOD is exist,but this kind of natural disaster
is not determine or set by GOD. It is unexpected and it just come
by itself without any advance notice.
I feel sad to read about the tsunami and earthquake that hit
Japan yesterday. I saw the video recorded when the tsunami happened,it was
so scary, all boats,cars and house were wiped away within a second.Even I
saw some cars along the road try to run away,but don't think
they can make it as the water come pretty fast.
Just hope this will over.

Yes there is God. If I'm not mistaken that was the highest scale of earthquake japan has experienced yet. Most of the Japanese believes the same thing like that Jap Atheist you mentioned. They may have advance technology but there's no technology that can stop an earthquake or any natural phenomenon. I also believe that the scenario that took place in Japan was written in the bible. I forgot the verse but it says that the Country and its people that doesn't believe in God and only praises themselves will suffer the most.

I was very sad to see the pictures and videos of the tsunami and felt very bad about the people who became victim of this natural event. This definitely is alarm about natural power that we ignore very often.

The tsunami is something we cannot create! Science and technology is something we can make...But we need to make the technologies from raw materials! G-d does not even need them. He makes something out of nothing. He made nature and is letting it take its course...Or have we simply forgotten to take care of our planet? Global warming, deforestation, pollution is what we are doing...Calamities are just something to remind us how fragile this world is....a reminder of G-d...but do we listen or even make things better for the world and ourselves?

I do wish people would have faith and acknowledge that there is God. By denying Him they are robbing themselves of the full richness of life. By disobeying His common sense commandments they are destroying their happiness. God made the world with natural laws and that includes natural disasters but He gave us brains and creativity so that we could keep ourselves safe--we just don't use them.
Your English is improving, please quit apologizing!! You are interesting and bring up many good ideas, I really enjoy your thoughts.

There is absolutely no connection between god and earth quake. Earth quake hitting this Bad means , Earth is dying badly. Enough with believing God , and try to be a god by making the world a better place to live. Be good to someone, then for him , you will be more than a god. Just Think. It is a simple truth.
