" Trouble and perplexity drive me to prayer and prayer drives away perplexity and trouble. ~Philip Melanchthen "
Here is a quote that really struck me. I know that I might not be a devoted Christian, but I am definitely spiritual. I have faith and that's what matters. Sometimes, I can't avoid not to get God's help and pray especially in times of need and in times of trouble. It's one of the things that I want to change in terms of praying. I want to be more prayerful, thank God and ask His forgiveness and also ask for His continuous guidance. It is true that most of us tend to be more prayerful when calamities and problems arise. It's not right but at least, I still pray 'cause I know that prayer is the only thing that helps me when troubles and misfortunes arise. They help me be stronger with all adversities that come my way knowing that God is there with me.

Even as a child I was trained to pray even if it will just to thank God for all of his blessings and help in times of trials. As an adolescent and as an adult I have proven this to be true that my first and last resort should always be God.

That's a good habit to have. Praying is always a powerful tool especially when done every day and with so much sincerity.

Prayer is the most powerful think. It's really hard to pray, I can say. Because in this world there are so many things that can caught your attention. The greatest problem when I'm praying is focus and concentration. Mt mind was full of many senseless things, friends, school works ,family and problems. It's hard to concentrate to God . So before I pray,I was asking for focus, that I may not think of other things while I'm praying . And most of the time, God is granting it.

Noble aspirations and very fitting as we enter Lent. I found myself thinking how much happier I am when I do rely on God. From experience I can also say that He does guide and care for us, even before we ask and even when we do not know what to ask.

I believe that God can always here what we want to say. He knows what are our needs and wants. Praying to God in times of problems and devastation is not a good one. I think that praying as a habit will make a person believe and be close to God more. When I have exams, I always pray and review. It's not always enough that you ask. You must also learn to serve yourself, in other words, you must show to God that you deserve better because you have worked hard for it and it will always be given to you. He is always watching us so keep that faith strong and believe.
