So I signed up for this site, Quality Health. They send out mailers for freebies. You have to do a mini survey related to your health to get them, but it seems pretty inoffensive. Only I've been on there probably a month and a half, and so far not one freebie has shown up in my mailbox. I did get one free cookbook online, but other than that, nothing so far.
So I did some searching. I see one person complaining that they never got their free samples. Then I see another person saying that they did. So, hmmmm....
Is the site OK or isn't it? Not sure. It does say it takes 4 - 6 weeks for the samples to show up, so I guess if I don't get any pretty soon, I'm going to have to believe that I'm wasting my time with this site.
Has anybody here dealt with them? Did anybody actually get any of their free samples?
Just wondering...

I don't think I signed up with Quality Health? I did sign up with one on-line health site, but I didn't get any freebies and it was a pain keeping the information up to date, so I stopped using it. What concerns me a little is that some place has all my health history and I'm wondering what they're doing with it? My own health insurance has a site and wants me to enter all my health data and I'm leary about doing it. What if I change insurance companies next year? What happens to my data? I think I'll just keep my health information off-line with my doctor(s), lab(s), etc.

They don't ask for anything as specific as that, but they do ask things like "do you have psoriasis", "do you have arthritis", etc. Then they ask if they can send you mailers with information on those conditions. With an eye to sell you something, no doubt. Anyway, let's see if my samples start showing up later this month. If not, UNSUBSCRIBE. lol

I've asked my doctor whether he gets patients that tell him what they think they need. He said he did, and yes, it annoyed him...a lot. And then he went in to a rant about health care, etc... I'm going to miss him when he retires; he's pretty much had it and ObamaCare pushed him further in to calling it quits. He's been the university athletics doctor for 30 years. I wonder if he's going to quit that too?

making health care accessible to everybody is great in principle, but making people pay for it or fining them, and if they can't afford it or choose to do without or can afford to pay the doc directly? but there are so many compromises between insurance companies and other groups, I don't think we'll ever get something workable.

I did alittle research and found this forum from two years ago:
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/free-stuff/864236/
That gives a long list of sites not to sign up for freebies on. Qualityhealth.com is one of them. So this tells me others have had a problem too. I know it does take a long time for things to come through the mail and the average time is 4-6 weeks.

Maybe it has to do with your answers in the survey. I was a member of a really good survey site. I was getting surveys all the time. Some were ones to try trial products and then take a survey. I enjoyed it. Then, all of a sudden, I quit getting them. I emailed the site and got word back that my information wasn't interesting to them anymore and they had stopped sending surveys because none fit my dynamics any longer. Weird!

I am with it, and some others. I seldom get the free samples I sign up for. I think I cannot find the unsubscribe or I forgot my password and you have to have it to unsubscribe. I did get a nice freebie from Real Simple, a pet hair roller, that is scented as well. Works well. I have some other freebies ordered from another place and I am waiting to see if they show up. I got a free Office Depot gift card directly from them, Once in a while it is worthwhile to fill out some of the mini surveys.

I think I signed up with this through Inbox Dollars, but did not feel happy about the results. I just ignore it.

I signed up for it to get points through another site and nope, never got a thing. I totally ignored it after that though.. I only wanted the original points. I don't like having to jump through hoops for free samples.

I didn't mind 3 or 4 questions, but lately it's been taking me to page after page of offers, so it's starting to get real annoying.

The only place I'll go for free samples, and I haven't even gone there for a long time, is Mysavings.com. It usually requires some registrations to get the free samples.. but obviously you can choose which ones are worth while and which ones aren't.. and usually other users leave reviews such as whether or not they got the product.

You just reminded me . . . I think I DID sign up with them, but that was a while ago. Were we supposed to get freebies? I don't think I got anything specifically from QH - but then again I was into freebies so much that I signed up for a bunch of them on different sites (I don't know what I got from where). Although I love free stuff, I decided that I mostly don't use those samples - unless it's a food thing (I think the last one was a Kashi granola bar). So I haven't signed up for a freebie in a long time. What were you supposed to get?

Hmmmm - I don't think I even got that far. I usually don't sign up for freebies where I have to sign up for those e-newsletters and such - but I think I did with Quality Health simply because it had health information. But did I ever go back to read any of their stuff? Noooooo. So I guess I don't deserve a freebie - ha ha. You know what, for a while, I thought our mail guy was taking my free samples because I wasn't getting them - ha ha.

I did sign up after reading a discussion here about our months and I did get the sample although it did take a long time to get it.
Thus far I received two samples and again both took a very long time but I did get them and for that reason I never returned again.
So just confirming that I did get both the shampoo and the laundry detergent.

I signed up on this site several months ago and I never did receive the samples that I had thought that I was getting. I have never gotten anything from them so now when I see something about it, I just figure it is a scam site and I do not even go there.

We don't get to enjoy offers like that because of our locality. Most of the sites that offer these kind of incentives are only meant for the western world. I mean it is where these sites originated. So I never bothered to sign up or even check them out.

I will do their offers from time to time because I'm able to get swagbucks from doing their offers and I've never had a problem with getting the various PDF cookbooks that they offer as freebies. However, when it comes to free samples in the mail, I've never gotten any of those. However, in my case I don't think that it is a waste of time because I am getting the swagbucks that I use to get amazon gift cards from doing their offers.

I like the freebie cookbooks. I don't think I signed up with them via Swagbucks though.

As some one else said, I signed up with Quality Health through another site that gave me points for doing it. I've never gotten anything from them. I have actually
signed up and stayed a member for a while doing whatever surveys they sent out (but these are the things that I really don't consider to be legit surveys, they are targeting you for future sales or spam)
and then after a while I dropped out when I realized I was never going to get anything from them.
Then another site was giving me points to sign up with them so I did it again. Never got anything the second time either.
Now, I have dropped them again and don't even consider them, even for points

I will see if any of those samples show up, and then I'll decide what I'm doing...
