If you have a billion now, what will you do?

i have a billion now, i would give a portion to japan who recently got hit by a devastating calamity. then i would also want to build a charity of my own that would help homeless children and senior citizens who dont have the strength to do jobs anymore. i would also set aside money for my family to make sure my siblings would finish until college and give my parents a stable business that they can handle even if they are old for doing jobs at the offices. then i would spend the rest for my own business, my future wedding and my future family:))

Suppose to earn a billion as of now is a dream...but let me assume i have it now. Now i fixed my mind that what ever i earn atleast 10 percent i will give for charity and if it demands more for the needy then for sure..i can help out. Now secondly...as billion has many zeroes i know that you know that....a dollar is a drop in and ocean. So my expenditure won't be too much may be hundred or thousand dollars. So would fulfil that first. then comes to by ppl who want help all will be done..then goes to the next step...i am a person who sees the future so i would save 20 percent for that..then make a big PARTY..with all my frnds..and it won't be more than 1 to 5 percent. Then i will be left with more than 50 percent...if you want that now i can give you do you want that?

I would buy a large land for my Dad. He always talks about how he wanted a land to farm so that he could settle down and live a simple life in a rural place. I also want the same thing when I grow old. After traveling the world, I'd like to live in a peaceful place and spend what's left of my life in tranquility. Although my father has enough money to buy a decent land for himself, he doesn't want to because he always thinks about our expenses. I feel sorry for him because he currently works abroad and I know he misses us the same way we do. What scares me the most is how helpless we are if ever something happens to him. You see my Dad's not that young and he has gone through angioplasty before so I'm really worried. Right after graduation, my brother and I plan to save a part of our monthly salary to buy a land but I guess it would be a lot easier with a billion bucks readily handed.

I've long wanted to do this to build a school for those children not go to school because of poverty and i also donate in charity then i build a business like sewer because i wanted to help for those unemployed moms who wants a job.... i would fullfil all of them.. i wish i wish i wish...

if i have A billion,i will start a business so that i can give employment to all which are poor and can not even find meal.it will help those capable and qualified youth which are begging for employment and not getting it even though they have the degree.

Hi, "Investment"..Could it be create my own business or invest with partners or corporation,in a way create more jobs for jobless people.

If I had a billion dollars. One I would move me and my son out of this lame town we live in now that we don't like. we'd up north of us to a town we miss living in. then visit a another town to see some friends north of there. So basically Traveling expenses, and moving expenses. then food, clothes, some wants, and then save the rest in the bank for other needs later.

Well first of all what ever money anyone earns , it belongs to whole family so first of all i have to deal with the greedy govt offciers who would take a major chunk of it in name of Income tax. After that it goes for my and my siblings education and also for lavish home and fun and roam whole world. Send my parents to where ever they want to and give my sister unlimted shopoing in London paris new york and me buy a villa in Bavery Hills.

my billions will be divided to: 30% - I will invest the money to stocks,mutual funds,businesses,and real estate. 30% - I will save in my bank accounts 15% - I will give to charity 15% - I will give to my family.they can spend it anyway they want to 10% - I will keep and spend for myself.

Hi Koalznowly, If I had that much money I would By a house, new cars, keep enough to live on. Then give my family some then donate the rest.

I would pay all of bills off to be debt free, help some close friends and family members, donate to organizations that have helped me, buy a ouse definitely to get me & my daughter out of this small apt, I love to plan parties so maybe start up a party planning bussiness mainly birthday parties, put the rest in my bank account.

If I had one billion dollars, I would definately pay off my bills, debt, and expenses. Next, I would probably donate to a cancer research charity. Then, I would go to some places in the world I have never been to, such as France, Brazil, and Spain. Lastly, I would help out with some of the world hunger stuff thats going on. I agree, a billion dollars is a lot and it can go far. It can help out with things some of us wouldn't even think about. There are people and causes out there that need the money more than we do.

If I have a billion now, I will call on the best minds in my country to help me create jobs for millions of people. In this way, the money would go a long way and would really help in uplifting the lives of my country men.

You mean a billion dollars? rupiah? lire? OK, let's assume USD. It's a big number. But if really from nothing to one billion USD now? I probably cannot do anything. I will die from ecstasy. If I don't die of that, I will spend the next one year planning what to do with it.

If i have a billion, i will first save for my kids education, then pay all my bills. part of it will be put into business, invest on, let say, food business, a grocery or other business that will give you a good return of investment, buy stocks and of course, allot part of it or donate to foundations that needs financial aide like home for the aged, cancer patients foundation, and those that are badly stricken by natural calamities, those that are devastated by earthquake and fire and build homes for the poor and homeless people. or maybe build schools for children who could not afford to go to school. Also go around the world and visit those hard to reach places with my family.

I'll put most of my money to Fixed Deposit. Buy a few shop's, and rent them to others. You will get money income without doing much things. Lastly consider starting a business (if i want more money). Will travel and donate by using the Fixed Deposit Interest.

Mmmm I would certainly buy a house and travel. The I would invest some money for the future and also try to help my family and people in need!

A billion? wow! For me, I will first donate it to the charity and offer some of the money to rebuild the church in our town. I will also buy my parents there preferred car and help them rebuild the house, if they want to. Third, is to save the money for my sister for her school because she wants to be a lawyer someday. Next, is for me to go to a school for fashion designing. I would also like to have my own business, anything to sell like clothes, shoes, jewels. The rest of the money? I'll keep it in the bank.
