What for a person earns money for?

Obviously I am earning for my family and myself also. I want to give my family more pleasure and happiness off course that will be achieved by more earnings from more sources. Besides the basic requirement of person there are certain other things which every one wants to enjoy those, I am not also exception. At present I am fulfilling the basic requirement of my family and now my wish to buy one decent car.

Education, especially professional is also expensive, mostly in five figurea and two of kids are into these courses-one a son is doing engineering and the apple of my eye, my daughter is doing Management. The youngest, a boy is in high school.

I earn money for me and my family. I earn to pay my normal living expenses and to have some luxuries along the way. I also ear so I can fly to see my son and his wife in another country. I earn to eat and clothe myself. Looks like I earn to keep my dog healthy too. LOL

My job pays the day to day bills and provides for my immediate family. What I earn on the internet, here and other sites, will go towards sending my wife's youngest sister to college.

I try to earn money as a stock trader in the US. I also write some articles for Associated Content. Sometimes I fill out a few surveys along the way. My main objective is to become a consistent trader in the markets. This by far takes up most of my time. It is a difficult occupation to learn. It can take years to master the art of trading. It has been 3 years since you have started this discussion. Now, I want to ask if your thinking has been changed! Is it changed or it is the same as it was 3 years ago. For me, I earn money to buy things which can make my family happy. Though I didn't buy anything to make them feel happy because my money goes away in home budget only!

I am working as a medical transcriptionist for the past six and half years. I had worked for four years for around 18 hours a day working at night and daytime and sleeping during the weekends and one hour or two hour during the weekdays. I have been working hard at that time to pay my bills and to live happily tomorrow and to have good food and good comforts for me and my family. I think most people earns money to live in a comfortable way with their family and to live happily.

I am just like you becasue when ever i earn and i just spend for most of the time for my family and my self but i am not earnings big money here so what about you?

I earn for the same reasons that you do. for myself and for my family. Mostly my online earings pay for extra things like vacations and other things we need or want to that do not fit in to our normal budget. My husband is the main bread earner in our family, but it certainly helps to get what ever extra money that I am able to bring in online.
