What is this ‘bux’, any meaning?

I was looking for the meaning of ‘bux’ in word web dictionary, it says ‘not found’; we see most PTC sites having names starting or ending with bux. Does it have any meaning, any significance? I am not member of any PTC site; my wife was in Neobux, clixsense, wordlinx. She earned some money. [b]But I see many ‘bux’ in mails forwarded by friends, asking me to join. I guess "bux" is a short for "bucks".I joined some bux sites and had just stop some of these bux since I read from forums that these are scams.There are consistent legit like Neobux and Onbux, etc.

This is also what I'm thinking about. "Bux" is a slang term for "bucks" which means money.

Like many have mentioned: bux=bucks plus you might pick up potential harmful "bugs" too, haha~!

to me BUX is a funny way of write bucks like in dollars I have joined several and in all that your wife is in. one bux I jioined a short while ago have already put in to collect earning so will see think I am in 8 of the now I just dont know how to get people to join after me as I only have 2 friends that do sometimes had another one but think she has quit every thing to play games she dont even come in here any more for playing games lololololol. you can PM me if you would like to see one of them ok

Bux is a Slang Term or Word for Bucks. A Buck a is a Male Deer aka a Monetary Note of any Denomination One Buck. Also know as a One Dollar Bill or a the Higher 5,10, 20, 50 100, 500, 1000 Dollar Bill. A Bill can be known as a William on the Street also a Slang Term. Slang Term is not in the Dictionary

Like my user name it is a slang meaning for dollars and they got creative as I did with my user name and call it bux instead of dollar. As you can see my hardworkinggurl, was slanged for hardworking girl!
