Yes, it may be considered as a proverb. Proverb based on my search online is a short pithy saying in frequent and widespread use that expresses a basic truth or practical precept. Thus, analyzing your given "funny" proverb would fall into the same category. Yours is kind of modern and it is applicable to most teens and young adults nowadays. It made me laugh too. Though I would really want to apply this one I think I don't have the capability to punch a guy in the face. As for me I can't think of any proverb that is funny that I would want to apply in my life at the moment, but I will try my effort to think one. Have a nice day ahead.

The hand that rocks the cradle, wrecks the world! Never trust a man that is always clean shaven or a woman that is never without a handbag. If your enemy knocks at your door with a sword, greet him likewise. If he comes unarmed greet him likewise but if he comes bearing gifts, lock your door and throw stones on him from your roof (from the cynical sayings of urban dekay) all the best urban

This maybe is not a proverb but it is a saying I go by; "I might be crazy but it helps me from going insane"! Then there is the line from "Forest Gump"; Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get!

This one has been my ultimate best and see it happening daily: You can lead a fool to wisdom, but you can't make him think. No matter how much you try you simply can't at times, lol

Yes every one has that one funny proverb that they love. Your's sound good too but actually I didn't really get it. I guess it depends on the country and the language to understand the literal meaning. Is this proverb famous in your country?
