Need prayers for friend with a new found cancer

HI y'all, I know I've been lax in mylot lately but have had personal issues and my own health problems.
I have a friend I graduated high school with waaaaaay back in '66 and he married a sweet woman after his time in Viet Nam and they have both been thru hell together.
A few years ago, she was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and has been blessed with being in remission for that........
I just received an email from him saying they had to go back to the cancer center cux they found a lump in her breast.......and they want to do a bioposy Tues.
As always, I know mylotters stick together when we have loved ones who are sick and need every prayer they can get.
We all know God listens and please , pray for my friends Mike and Connie.

Will be lifting up your friend in Prayer for Gods will in this biopsy and if it is cancer again hopefully they have caught it in time for some good treatment this time as well. I know people who have recently passed on due to cancer but we always need to remember no matter what happens to always cherish the time on Earth we had with them, and let God continue to be in control.

You are so right.God is the one in control and with Connie, she's beeen a worker for God all her life and I'm sure what is in God's plans will be the best.
Her hubby is quite a fellow and he is keeping her spirits high and with the help of prayer surely Connie will ok and with us for a long time to come.

LOL, I am behind too :( well, Connie is going to day for her biop and Mike tells me he feels she will be fine. I am glad he has such a good heart..............I should have married him waaaaaay back there after high school...............we were only friends but he's the best.
Connie is gift and no one can doubt that.

Could have been a good couple as we love the same things. Maybe some day, huh? LOL
but, haven't heard from Mike yet and kinda worries me.
I did hear from my aunt.........she is to have throat surgery the 31st, so send your energies to her too.............Oh ( lol) now she too needs a colonoscopy :)
She isn't getting the attention she needs I guess LOL
But, life moves on and we deal with people.........

Quita, how close are those fires to you there? I heard that over two dozen fires are burning in the state where you live. We will of course pray for Mike and Connie, but are you okay?

We are both fine. Hubby is old enough for medicare now, so he is getting a lot of tests, etc. We got a YMCA membership and are doing that quite a lot. I am going to participate in a Monster Garage Sale at our fairgrounds next weekend. Get rid of some clutter while making some money I hope.

OH, geez, wish you had some of my clutter to sell ! I'd gladly give it to you just to get it all out of my way!
I think there might be a YMCA in a town close to me but I'm into walking with my neighbor next door and his wife walks with us when she isn't working.
I draw a small amount each month and it's not enough to live on. My hubby is afraid with no COLAs now we are going to be hurting, but don't dare join anything that costs me.......so the walking and I've lost 25 pounds !
I am doing really well and sounds like you are too.

Most of the fires are only about 60 miles away. We've had some really close here in the last few days tho.
There are so many new fires breaking out each other , it's hard to determine how many , I just know we've been put on alert, so we are being super careful here.
Thanks for the prayers. They are special people .......of course, like us, but they've been the kind of friends who are always here for me.
I am doing fine. I had a colonoscopy last week and came out with great news! Just diet changes is all and I don't have to go back for five years.
My heart problem has been taken care of and I feel like God gave me a new lease on life !
How in the world are you?
I've been out of pocket for a while, but am back.

I'm really sorry to hear this quita. What a devastating blow to them both. They've been through hell before and some how managed to come out on top smelling like a rose, some how I feel they will again. I will keep them in my prayers though.

She will go for the biopsy today...........we will know more later, but I can say, her husband is in high spirits and I've told him my frineds on mylot were praying for them and he says to tell you all thanks for the bottom of his heart.

hi quita. yes, i agree, mylot friends get together in times like this. i have proved it when i went down too, with my son's health condition. i know lots of friends here prayed for him. and i thank you all. i send prayers too for mike and connie. god bless.

HI, I do sooooo thank you for your prayers. I know you all went thru a lot with that boy and like we both think , with the power of mylotters praying, the Lord has to hear.
I've not heard a work from them yet, but am hoping to hear soon.

Hello quita good day..I don't know when you posted this topic of yours since I only see it right now as i am surfing here in mylot. I don't know about her/his status nowadays. Well, I hope she's/he's been doing fine.

Connie goes today for her biop and I will keep you all informed on her results. It's so scary now that she's already battled cancer of the lung and been thru all the treatments.
Guess we all have our own needs for cure.

Thank you so very much for your prayers.I haven't belonged to Mylot very long but long enough to know when I ask for prayers, the person and their family we pray for somehow (God's will) does great and comes thru like gang busters.
I do thank you for your prayers and God bless you for understanding God does listen to even the smallest, tiniest little voice.
However,with the faith I've found in Mylot, God is surely blown over:)
