Key for Cash

Hi, everyone I am new user here . I posted some comments to some discussion posts already. However, I do have a question about a website called Key for Cash, basically it offers work at home assignments doing typing or keying as I guess it is referred to. You have to take a keying test which is all done online through their website , you are tested in keying numbers, dollars, and words. Not necessarily in that order. You are scored in the percentile range with 100% being the highest. I recently retook the test, because quite honestly I am looking for some work to do here at home, not looking to get rich, but just to bring in some extra cash. I scored 91% and you can only take the test once in a twenty four hour period.if you are not pleased with your percentile score. I want to know if anyone has had any experience in working for this company and if so what was it like ? How long after you took the evaluation and scored a high percentage, were you invited to join their team ? Is it legit or is it a scam ? I most definitely am convinced that following instructions carefully is also the key to the high percentile scoring process. If anyone cares to share any information, I will be looking forward to reading the comments here.

I got key for cash on my list of sites that pay upfront, but, I never join this site because I think that it would be a lot of wasted time, for one it's not a popular website and when a website that suppose to pay for your efforts are not at the top of the list of good reliable writing sites that's a red flag. If you want extra income go with a good writing site such as Textbroker it is a pretty good site never read a bad review about them. In fact I am a 3 star writer there. http://www.textbroker.com/us/author-signup.php

My daughter is very happy with Textbroker. You can join Gather and earn points to turn into gift cards and Pay Pal, I am there. Someone else suggested MTurk and that is also legitimate, it is part of Amazon. I know a few more things, but I do not earn as much as I would like to just yet. I am a member of Textbroker but I have not accepted any assignments yet. You will earn here, I almost always make more than my minimum $10 payout, but not a lot more. I am at a lot of sites. You can spread yourself too thin.

Hi RubiePerl, Welcome to myLot. Hope you enjoy your time here. I remember keys for cash. It was an opportunity I was very interested in a few years ago. I registered with them several times but, unfortunately, all the positions were filled. At least that's what I was told. I honestly can't tell you if it's legit or a scam but I really wanted to give it a try. I hope it is for real and that you are able to earn nicely from it. Keep us posted. All the best to you.

Actually no, I have not taked any evaluations. I don't think it was offered when I first learned about the site. Maybe it's something new they added. Or maybe I don't remember hearing about it.

Hi betlynfrnds and thanks for your response, I have only gotten as far as taking the keying evaluations , which I have taken several times because initially I started out with a very low percentile and I was determined to get as high as 95%, I got 91%, so I am not going to take the evaluation over again. In looking at their FAQs they say they send out invitations to join their team every few weeks or so but they give no clue as to what percentile ranking they are looking for to join their team. Did you ever take the keying evaluations ?

I met a friend on here who says she has worked for them in the past. She said they do not send out a lot of work anymore. They did pay her though when she worked for them.

Just did some quick research and saw that IMReportCard users gave it a D+ This usually means the site is not good. Ill do more research later but pretty sure the site leans towards a scam

Thanks tap0991 : I will agree that is definitely not a good sign that it is a legitimate site, let me clearly state, I don't work for them and have not been offered any employment with them, I just took the keying evaluation test again less than a week ago, so I am just checking out any information I can get on them. They state that a person who wants to work for them has to take that keying test first. Thanks for telling me about the site IMReportCard

Its a good concept I would say but not a good owner and no problem it was just an easy way to check as it was higher up in the search.
