Ever felt like you could make real money on the internet if you did not have a 9-5 job? If so how would you approach this issue. This is a tough question do you give up your pay check on a risk? Knowing if the risk pays off then you will make alot more money and just be happier in life. Let me know what you think on this topic

Having a day job is the most legit way of making money, at least more legit than making money online. So far, I've only known a few who pulled the trick off but they, too, have a day job so don't quit your job. You can treat earning money online as a side profit for emergency expenses and stuff.

First of all, you should not give up your job at the heat of the moment. I would recommend making your online money endeavors more of a side project when you start out. That way, you will have some financial security to fall back on while you're going through your start-up phase and still figuring everything out. Setting aside an hour or two of your day (or whatever time you can spare) for doing your research in whatever internet money-maker you'd like to be involved with and going through the various steps required to carry it out is always a good approach. When you do start making a profit, still keep your job, but do devote time to your online business each day. Monitoring your cash flow from your online business is vital. Only when it equals or exceeds what you're making from your 9-5 job will it be time to think of working online full-time. See that the cash flow is consistent, too, not seasonal or merely a "viral" period. I would also save whatever money I make from my online business until the money really starts coming in, but that's just me. Good luck with your online work!

yeah.. i have. actually i have computed i can make this amount of dollars if i contributed this number of hours online.. but then.. some sites are not as reliable as mylot.. some pays very late, some never pays and would just waste your time... so really, its not as reliable as a day job. hehe it is just an extra income if they do pay...

Never. Even the lowest paying 9 to 5 job, pays far better than any internet job I have ever seen yet. Perhaps someday, but thus far, I have yet to see any way to earn real money other than to sell stuff on Ebay or Craigslist.

I guess most of us online earners have the desire and want but in reality as a fist time online venture it will not be quick and easy to do. One has to have a full time job and not really need the money to begin to learn all the dynamics it take. It can be done only patience and lack of money do not go together.

If you can't make at least a useful amount by doing it evenings and weekends, it doubt doing it full time would work out very well. Internet income builds up over time and never happens quickly. So if you are doing well with it as a hobby, quitting your job to do it would probably be a bit of a disaster? Just MHO, of course.

I have about 5 years devoted to it. Everytime i work in my spare time i see results. I have been thinking about it just not sure i want to make the jump in it at this time.

Well, there are people who seem to earn a living being online doing things such as Writing, etc. and are quite happy with it. Some who are with certain online companies are earning more than a lot of people make as well. Then there is also sites like Etsy.com, Yard_Sell-R.com, Ebay, etc. where you can sell your wares at as well. So in reality, it can be possible for a lot of people out there to make more than they could earn working for someone else, but it just depends on what you want to do, and the type of motivation you might have as well.

I believe it's very realistic to replace any offline income with an online one. That is, of course, if you stay focused and disciplined. Avoiding distractions is vital to a successful online business. In my case, I would not give up my offline work unless I have at least matched my salary. I do things online and I'm my boyfriend's assistant in his offline business. In this shaky economy, I like to have multiple streams of income. If I no longer worked offline, I would most likely still have multiple streams of income online just to be on the safe side. Sometimes you just don't know when some avenues slow down. So I like to be prepared. Here's a key point : I make sure that I enjoy what I do. Just because something is lucrative doesn't mean I will like it. I can't tell you how many times someone told me that I would be great at multi level marketing. I tried mlm. I don't like it and I won't do it even though some people are very successful in their mlm business. It just isn't for me. There are people who run their mlm marketing online and have a profitable business. That's great but it's not great for me. If I don't like the work, I won't do it for very long.
