I received an email last March 9,2011. The email came from Google 11th Anniversary Presentation Centre, Africa Branch Office.
They said that my email address has been selected as one of the lucky winners in the second batch of the on-going Google 11th Anniversary Award by Google Asia Branch office in Bangkok,Thailand. Therefor I have been awarded the sum of $500,000,000.00
They are asking for a verification form to be emailed back to them containing the following information:
Full Name
Tel/Mobile No
Nationality
Current Country
Contact Add
Occupation
To claim the winning prize they are asking to contact Mr.Charles Brown- ingglo@gmail.com,+2348073690610.
A quick search using Google will tell you that this kind of email is a SCAM!!!
So beware.
By the way, they sent that email to my yahoo account.

I too get this kind of emails many time and most certain they all are scam and we should never give out any of our details to them to keep our account safe
after your fill all those details they will ask you for your bank account no: so that they can transfer the amount to your bank
which even a blinded man can tell is a scam
thanks for the update

I've gotten those before. I don't even waste my time even responding whatsoever. I know it's a scam because of the nature of it. I tend to try to block them if I can. They wind up going into the junk mail portion so it's not like it goes into the inbox. I hate when they show up period.
