slow to low internet connection for 2 days

i wonder why i got slow internet connection for the past two days?
maybe it is connected on what happened in Japan?
maybe the cause of slow connection is because of the internet traffic?
within the two days of slow internet connection, i was not able to check my mail and even used PTC sites :( what a great loss for me... i hope i don't get banned through inactivity... have you experienced the same? or was it only i who experienced the trouble?

Yeah, I'm having the same problem and it's really frustrating especially when you're used to having fast internet connection. When I first noticed this, I also thought the quake in Japan had something to do about this but I haven't really checked with people more knowledgeable than I on matters like these. I'm just waiting for my connection to return back to normal.
