Everyday, I woke up early preparing myself for a day's work. Need to got an alert mind and body coz bunch of reports are waiting and deadlines of submission is near. Japanese managers are quick person that they want an instant solutions/corrective actions in any problems encountered in the production. i am a production line leader handling a group of workers at assembly line. Our company is into making electronic products which is now the "hit" in the market. I am working for a decade now in this company. Wonder why I dont get bored of a daily routine for 10 years?It is because I never been stuck up in one process..I was first started at production line. The soldering section where these product are connected via a heated metal called solder wire to form an electrical connection over the pattern on the PWB(printed wiring board). After a year, i was designated to SMT(surface mounting technology)This is where the chips like diode,capacitors,and resistors are mechanically mounted by a mounter printed by solder paste thru a printer and flows in the hot chamber called reflow oven. I work as a machine operator for about 2 years before I was transfered to Quality section and remained there for 6years. We are engaged on checking all the raw materials used for the production line.Our section is called Incoming Quality Control where all the materials to be used whether small parts for assembly or the chemicals to be used are being inspected physically and environmentally. The assembly line which now i am handling is the heart of the production because it is the section where all the product are manufactured step by step piece by piece. There is electrical checking done after the assembly of small parts forming a finished product ready for ship-out or delivered to customers. But before they are packed, these manufactured goods undergo final checking which we call "Outgoing Inspection".Once it is passed on the quality standard provided by both customer and our company,it will be signed, "QC PASSED".
