I remember when I was an ignorant teenager. Wow! How many times my parents advised me not to do something and I ran to do it. My father used to tell me: "Someday you are going to look back and you will see why I tell you this." Now that Im a grown up with my own family I understand so many things. I wish to go back and do what my parents advised me to do. Like focus in my studies and be wise at the moment to take a decision. What things did your parents used to tell you that you wish have listened?

Definitely!! When I was a teen, every time they used to tell me something my answer was:"I know". They used to tell me:"It seems you know everything". Now I see how wrong I was.

Hello there! Parents are heaven sent angels here on earth that leads us into doing good while we grow. I remember my mother every now and then who always shares her wisdom and advice for me not to go astray. She always taught me the value of hard work, money and being good to others. She advice me to enjoy my youth, study hard and never aspire to have a family at a very young age because according to her, you can never do the all the things you wanted when you already have a husband and kids. That's very true, I always said to myself that my mother is correct though I hated her continuous talk before, now that she's gone, I instilled to my daughter the thongs that she taught me. I just knew that just like my, in due time, my daughter will realize how genuine and pure parents love was. Have a nice day head!

My parents taught me really good finance habits. It has taken me decades to finally start doing the things they taught me. It would have saved me years of worry, and lots of money if I just kept the habits.

Of the many foster parents I had I guess I could say that I wished I had listened when they kept saying do not be in a hurry to grow up. But thankfully I did finally grow up and tend to recall the saying sometimes.

i really am scared of my parents that i almost do listen to all their advices. but not all. before when i was younger, i was really pissed on how my parents advices me things because inside of me says that "are they that perfect to know all the good in the world?" but still i have no choice but to follow them. but now, i realized how important their advices are because they have been already on my stage. they've been there, done that. so im getting on the bright side to listen to their advice without getting pissed off.
