While Jason Stratham tends to be aloof and not show any emotions while doing his contracts, Charles Bronson has more screen presence and that elusive smile and kinder eyes in his version of the Mechanic movie.
Jason tend to be too uptight playing the role of the hitman.
Looking at the two Mechanic versions, the apprentice played by Jan Michael Vincent was was more elusive and illusive than Ben Foster.
I liked both but I am more nostalgic about the Bronson number.
What about you?

Hiya GD,
Again I am not sure if I have seen this Film either. One of these Days though you will write about a Film and I will have probably seen it recently so I can say a big yes.
All I can say is I love Jan Michael Vincent as an Actor and Charles Bronson too and Ben Foster. Whatever the Films they are in I will like them good or bad.
For me they are Actors that entertain very well even if the Film is not very good quality.
Enjoyed them all anyway in the few Series that I have been able to see them in.
