I watched Jessica Soho last March 12, 2011. A TV segment where you can get juicy information. They feature twitter. Which many people around the globe not only in Philippines who are addicted to twitting. This TV segment showcase how can twitter generate a money.
Some user is using ad clicks on twitter. Which they can earn money.
Is there someone who can testify this aside from the one on this TV segment?
Who can give tips on how to generate money in twitter.

I think it is possible to earn through twitter. I have this friend who actually signed up a twitter account just so that she can post a particular post on her account where she gets to tag a particular twitter user and she gets a few cents for every tweet she posts. I think it's a way of publicity for some celebrities especially those from abroad. She was paid though and still doing some more posts for this particular user.

Sometimes if you look at the Tasks here, there are Twitter tasks that will pay you a cent or two for following an account or doing a tweet. You can also find paid things like that at places like MicroWorkers and MinuteWorkers. It won't be a lot of money, but it's a tiny bit here and there.

I dont know who in their right mind can stick with twitter for long. I guess celebs are just high all the time, and need something to occupy themselves with.
I've signed up before, but was thoroughly bored after 5 mins. I dont think I could be bothered to earn the 0.00000001 cent per post, or whatever it would be.

I do not know anything about earning money on Twitter like that, but I use it to promote my business with links to specials or videos that we have done on YouTube.
I just heard that Twitter celebrated it's 5th birthday recently and that it now has 200 million users! That is an incredible amount of people to be able to market to!

My personal experience when I was still into affiliate marketing is that I got ZERO referrals from Twitter. I did everything correctly, and within Twitter's guidelines, looked into free tips and sites, etc, but although I had no problems getting followers and I followed many, it's just that it seems like everything's out there doing the same thing. Makes me mad. Then I talked to a guy who's heavy into marketing and he told me what was really going on - people were using twitter bots and not even looking at their accounts. To me, that's an extremely unfair practise, and highly unethical, so that's one reason why I don't use Twitter except for my own personal use, nothing to do with marketing. It's really a tough world out there, everyone's getting in to the hottest programs, fierce competition.
Sorry that I couldn't give you any tips, at least none that doesn't violate Twitter's rules, anyway. I'm certainly not going to engage in using twitter bots, either!

I just use it to find on short important information and to see when the sales are. I sort of like it but two of my friends are not that sure so that makes me feel guilty of joining it. Not into earning the money but more into shared interests.

I've never tried Twitter at all. I know everyone seem to enjoy it. I just have no desire to try it. Good luck with a response.
