Virtapay is just Paybox's new name...didn't you read the emails and blog posts about the site being rebranded? It was announced more than a week ago I think. This decision to rename the site may be because there is another company that already uses the Paybox name. Anyway, if you login, you should see that your balance is still there and still increasing.

Virtapay has said it is working on developing relationships with merchants so that users can start to use their balances for purchases. So, hopefully, we'll finally be able to spend our balances soon. It will definitely be interesting to see how Virtapay currency is valued when we can spend it...I hope every item doesn't cost 1000 Virtapay dollars!
jkclyde: Unfortunately, I don't see a way of contacting Virtapay support directly either. Is there any chance your account was deleted due to inactivity? If you've been logging in regularly at the old site, I can't imagine that is the problem. Maybe you can try contacting them via Twitter or Facebook (they have the Virtapay name on both sites).

Since the change I have not been able to log in. My user name and password do not work. I tried to reset the password and typed in my user name and email and it said that the user name and email combo did not exist. So I tried the same user name and my other email (which is unlikely because I hardly use it for anything) and same result, combo does not exist. Well, I certainly did not forget my user name or my password and especially my email (that I use everyday). They have no way of contacting them for support and now I can no longer access my account. If anyone has info on how to contact PayBox.me or VirtaPay for this issue please respond or send me a quick email to jkclyde@hotmail.com
Thanks

..Hi yugasini I don't think you can call the site a scam. They changed the name to Vitalpay. The blog they post says we will soon be able to use the virtual cash earned to purchase digital merchandise. If that happens I have no problem, I do think that the virtua dollars will be pro-rated or something in some way. It will not be a dollar for dollar exchange. Just a guess. But scam, I don't think so. Take care.

They haven't paid anyone yet so they're not legit in the first place either. But again, they, themselves say the money you earn are not real money but paybox money (of course, now it would be called virtapay. As to whether or not you can cash the earnings you've been receiving, that's for you members (since I didn't sign up for that site) to find out once they launch their site.

I just went and looked and yes VirtaPay opened. But I was just thinking, I heard from a few people that the name PayBox Me had been used before and these guys had stolen it. Perhaps the name change has something to do with copyright issues. But I agree, this site is probably scam.

I logged in last night only to find it changed to virtapay, but it doesn't seem like I lost any of my balance, and it's still growing. It really is early to tell, at least they're still communicating with us via the blog posts. Oh, well, we didn't pay anything to sign up, they didn't ask for any personal information, so what the heck? :-)
