Anybody yet see this coming?
Onbux used to be on top of my list as one of the best PTC. You dont need to actively recruit DRs, just rent as many RRs as possible and you earn almost guaranteed as the RRs are very active in clicking.
Sounds too good to be true? Well yes it is.
It started as a warning about so-called "cheaters". The next thing you know, regular people who have invested hundreds to thousands of dollars are suddenly told their payments are pending because they are being investigated for "cheating".
I was one of those who believe this tale hook and sinker as I am still getting paid. Then one day about almost 1 month ago, it happened to me. They accused me of cheating - me which has a static IP, one PC dedicated to clicking Onbux ads, and only me in my home who even knows what Onbux is all about.
I have seen people who have never profitted yet but invested hundreds of dollars - now waiting in vain for their payment - almost 2 months ago. Onbux is doing selective payment, one of the trademarks of scamming hyips running out of money - under the disguise of investigating imaginary "cheaters".
And so I realize Onbux is much worse than Neobux. At least in Neobux they pay you, but you have to work hard to seek DRs. In Onbux - once you are selected for selective payment, say goodbye to your money.

My 8th and last payment with onbux was put on a 'pending payment' status. After 48 hours, I filed a paypal dispute. They released my pending payment and refunded me my investments back. Since then, I've been trying to assist those who have encountered the same experience on how to get their money back via a Paypal dispute.
To me, any site that violates it's own TOS is a scam. TOS6.2 of Onbux say that payments are supposed to be instant or in case of issues may take up to 48 hours.

Yup that is good move on your part.
In my case, its too late for me to recover my Golden upgrade since it happened last year. I may yet do it one of these days just to piss off Onbux and add to the list of angry members.

It could be that Onbux will likely to turn into scam. I've been reading a lot of complaints at the Onbux forum that they have not been paid when it is supposed to be instant. And the more you complain, the more they are going to delay your payment. I don't know if this is just a strategy to delay the payment or they don't have the fund to pay the members.

I have heard on mylot discussions that OnBux is not payint their members properly.
And you too have experienced it.
But from today itself the neobux is also changed.
Neobux now provide $0.001 for standard members instead of $0.01.
I think this neobux is also turning to be scam.
