I haven't been in the virtual world in a while but since I have been back I have been very connect. Thru Facebook that is. Before I lost touch with the cyber world my facebook page was slow and the site was very boring to me even though all of my family and friends were excited about the social community. I couldn't figure out what all the whoop was about. All I could think was what about Tom and Myspace? Well since I have been back online all of my old friends have reconnected with me on facebook. People I couldn't find on myspace or who weren't on myspace. Everyone has grown up and I get to see pictures of their husbands, wifes, children, lives and I get to share mine as well. I really like being in touch with my mom with out having to pick up the phone each day because my mom loves facebook too lol

That is really true.. I think facebook does help to reconnect to old friends and family specially when you don't have time to meet them in person.. but I still prefer to use my mobile to speak to them .. I think speaking on phone is better then online chatting..

Yes thats true because there's nothing like hearing my moms or my children's voice on the other end of a telephone if I cant see them but facebook makes it easy to talk to busy friends while proceeding in my busy life

Well, I still like the good old telephone line. :)))
Enjoy talking using your mobile phone. However, sometimes the signal is low so talking via mobile is not so good.

I had heard of facebook long before i went there. I didnt want a facebook because i had a myspace. Finally i was trying to raech a friend. She didnt respond to myspace or email but i found her on facebook she responded. However i couldnt contact her unless i set up my own facebook. I was surprized to see all that were my non active friends on myspace were now on facebook and very active. Ok but what i dont like about facebook is when i paly a song its only like a sample of it. On myspace you can play the whole song. I regularly go to myspace.

I agree with you thinking that facebook has improved much in recent times, I also has family and friends in FB, it is, indeed the largest online comunity to date, but, I think that every social network has its own benefits, I like Myspace too, because, there is a place where I can find music, from people all over the world, even download some things, and, think of Mylot for instance, it is a place where you can even have a benefit for yourself.

I think Facebook is good social networking site and i too have account there but i joined mylot yesterday and iam impressed with it very much because we can any doubt in minutes...we can discuss and main we make some money too which is a good thing

Facebook is the best. Almost everyone I know has a Facebook account. Even the retired has one. Facebook has brought many lost loved ones and/or friends together. You can also do business in facebook. Yeah, it offers many features like games and tons of apps. Facebook for me is really the number 1 social networking site in the world. It's great. It is very easy to use unlike friendster which offers customization of profiles. Some profiles in friedster are so complex. I can't read some of the words my friends say in friendster. Thank you Mr. facebook, can't remember his full name. Anyway, enjoy using Facebook and meet more friends and old friends ofcourse

i think that is the primary reasons why we have facebook accounts, to get connected with the world. FB is very convenient because i bridges the gaps between friends who are miles apart.It also rekindles the love that long distance relationships have put its toll among the many of us. It can also find you someone of the long time partner you are always searching for. Because of Fb, almost all things are possible.
It is very advantageous to someone like me, too. I can keep my family posted of my activities without really telling them how I had been. They just have to open my page and Viola! everything they need to know is there.

Although I don't use it as much as before I do agree it is a great site to stay in touch and communicate with family and friends. It is almost like not loosing touch as long as they have the account.

In reality FB now is on top of its kind from family to business and even news, work and others, very vocal around about FB. Yeah it is very helpful and easy to join. what do you think? FB is still on top 5-10 years from now? Because before friendster is the best but FB take over, who's next? see you around

Facebook is a great place to keep in touch with our friends and family and to share our life with the rest of the world make friends enjoy our self
but now i spend more time here on mylot as its the same and we meet friends here too but not like facebook though but i enjoy both

i think giving much importence to the face is not that much good. we have to give the importance upto some level.
