This might sound amaturish to the experienced marketer but I found something new and feeling so happy that I want to share it with you. I read that when you want to promote a website it helps that you collect leads. Therefore I create a sales page and put in an autoresponder. The autoresponder that I use enables me to redirect my visitors to whatever website I wish. At first i thought I want to 'force' the visitor to verify their email addresses so I did not send them to the website I am promoting. But I experiemented and found out that I got triple the number of sign ups when I directed the visitors straight to the intended website. It looks obvious now that I should do that at first but if the visitors are to verify their email addresses, the autoresponder will then allow me to send them messages over and over. O well it is my loss but hopefully not yours. Do you have other suggestions that can increase my sign ups? Thanks in advance.
