New blog promotion Idea.. What do you guys think ?

hi guys, I was browsing through blogs yesterday when I came across this blog and it had a great Idea to promote its blog. Now the owner was offering 10$ to the winner of a particular contest. The contest was as follow. Submit your blog here to particular category. the blog which gets the most votes will get the 10$. now the bloggers who submit their blog must promote this contest and get people to vote for their blog. the visitors are directed to the blog where the contest is running. in this way the owner is getting quite good quality traffic. What do you have to say about this method. and what are you ways of promoting your blog.?

Hallo hatimyal, it sounds like a pretty nice way to promote a blog, but it probably isn't the best solution for all since some prefer free promoting instead of paying 10 dollars. But good idea though :)

yaa i can understand that. I also want to promote my blog for free. and paying off 10$ is a big deal right. I agree with you, but some people who are earning good amount from their blog wont mind increasing their traffic this way.

I guess that's a unique idea. As i have never seen something like that. This is a surely good idea for getting more traffic on blog. If we have to promote something important from our blog than promoting our blog this way can be turn out in benefit.

Yaa i know its a unique idea. am thinking of starting this on my blog. but just waiting for some cashouts then I will start it i think. and am also waiting for other people responses to it. If i get a huge response i will start. Thanks

If that site really pays 10 dollars for winner then its best way of bloging. Have you researched on that site? Which is the site let me know.

I have no idea about that site. i was just browsing through each and every site yesterday. I will let you know if i come across that site again. but i think i will start this method on my blog. if you want you can submit your blog in my site. but this method is still under progress. if i get a good response i will start this method. Thanks
