diabetes and it's complication

March 14, 2011 6:50am CST
my father is diabetic, and recently we noticed some physically changes with him, he started to have tremors. After consulting with the neurologist, they concluded that my father has parkinsonism, which maybe due to multi-infarc. Usually only 12% of the diabetic population develops this kind of complication. Can anyone give me advice on how to manage this, is an alterntive medicine avilable for this kind of case?

I don't know any alternative medication on parkinsons disease but I can tell you an alternative for diabetic clients. Parkinsons disease is a degenerative disease in which a person has low in dopamine levels that is produced by the substantia nigra. What i know about the medications that are used are the Levodopa and Carbidopa. The Dopamine agonists such as bromocriptine and others. For diabetes, what is really needed is to change the diet of the person. To decrease his consumption of foods that are sweets. Also a person should lessen his intake of rice, bread, colas and noodles. Increase the intake of water, which is very good to the body. Exercise is also essential so that glucose that are in intravascular will enter inside the cell so that it can be use for energy of the person. A doctor who is using alternative medicine also told me that chromium is good in lowering blood sugar of the person. There is also a herb for diabetes like fenugreek which is also helpful. But for me the best to treat diabetes is discipline and a change in lifestyle and food intake. Diabetes can be control if a person really wants to control.. a big deal of discipline is really needed.

Since it was a complication of diabetes you really need to control his blood sugar so it will not get worse. One alternative treatment of diabetes is Bitter gourd Melon(ampalaya)which is proven to have natural insulin.I don't really have an idea if there are alternative treatments for Parkinson's.I would suggest that you really need to take good care of your father and always attend to his needs,

Diabetes is a terrible disease.Do not know if there is a slight against her.I know that there are medicines for diabetes and stroke. I am not very familiar. But apparently need a specialist to explain everything in detail and will do it.I wish you success.
