Hi, mylotters,
I'm a college student who will graduate in 2012. It's my third year in Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology, Qinhuangdao, China. I love travelling very much. I think travelling is of great benefits and it is interesting to meet different people and know different customs. In my eyes, the school time is the best time to travel because as a student, we have more time and energy.
But the problem puzzled me is that i don't have enough money. It's really a pity. hmmmm...Now i plan to travel to Tibet, i am saving money and one day i must be there.
Do you have the same problem?
Have a good time!

Hey.same here but worse. Our country is poor and we find it hard to spend for living also.we cant do odd jobs also .so not much money to travel to another country. Some have money and they do travel a lot.I'm bit angry with them as they waste money by having parties(drinking ) without exploring world. But now my aim is to do a job and collect some money and then go.But the problem is will i be too late...as we get older...

Money is such a big factor in travelling, that's why I make it a point to plan my trips around a year before the actual date, so I can save and budget my money. Also it helps because I have time to check out discounts on air fares or hotels which really helps my budget a lot. Maybe when you start working you can travel more, but just make sure to still spend within your means.

HI,
I never been to Tibet before and since you have
the plan to visit this country, start do the saving from now and
one day you sure can make it.
I believe you won't be going alone, so aks your friends or family members
to join,it will be more fun.
During my study, I only went to Australia once with my classmates,
it was so fun and I really hope I can visit this country again One Day with
my husband and my son.
Australia is a agood country for retirement. The weather is good and I
like the environment.

I guess most of us students have the similar concerns. We really love adventure and see the world but we need to by physically fit and financially capable. I would suggest that if you are really planning for a trip try to book fares ahead of time and check out some backpackers place to stay over the course of the duration.

Be opposed with you, i have enough money to Tibet, but i have no time. My work is busy. Just in holidays i have time, but there are so many people planning to travel too and it's very hard to buy ticket and find a hotel at thest time, which causes me giving up my plan.

I also love treveling very much and will visit Tibet too. I also had same problem when I was student but had very good company of friends and we used to visit at least one places in one semester means two in year...
But now when I am working and can spend little bit on travelling then there are another circumstances like no leave and absense of friends in life with whom I can enjoy those places...
But still we make plan and hope any of that plan to get succeded...
Thanks for asking...

Hello there Happy Forever I hope that you will soon find out that traveling on a low budget is possible. As you are a student you could get an International Student Identity Card that would give you discounts on flights. You could stay in your own tent or a bed in a dorm in a backpackers hostel. You are doing very well to be saving up to visit Tibet. Traveling to other countries is my favorite hobby and so far in my lifetime I have been able to visit more than fifty different countries. I traveled to Colombia this year, to Canada last year and to South Africa the year before. Good luck with your travel plans for the future.

I love to travel and have been to a lot of places. It can cost a lot of money but for me travel is important so I will pay it because the experience is priceless. I am lucky now that I have a job that allows me to travel for free but the problem I have now is that I don't have enough days off to go anywhere .

most of the people who likes to travel have this kind of problem. The good news is that you are saving money to go, so someday you will be there for sure. Unfortunately many people who like to travel cannot do it because they have a lot of other things to do (to pay). so they cannot save money. How you say is great been a student so you can save more money and having more time to travel makes you dreams come true more easily.
so enjoy your time and never give up on your dreams!
good luck sweet heart

I love tavel. But I have a huge fear of flying, I've flown, many times, and the more often flew, the more afraid. I've tried everything - even the day before the flight not slept, and even drunk. Drinking led to vomiting the airplane toilet Me no problem to collect money because flying is cheap, me like to travel, but not with plane.
