I am vision impaired, and am wondering if there are any advantages on an ipad that would be beneficial for me.
I know nothing about them, but have a friend who has one, and the screen has a really crisp and bright viewing area.
I have also considered a Kindel for the same reason.
Too bad MyLot doesn't have a subject selection of tech items.

With you being visually impaired, I do not know how it will work for you. It depends on what you want it for. Comparing it to the Kindle to use it as an eBook reader, the Kindle has a better screen. Many people have been having problems with the backlit screen of an iPad. Both devices can access the internet and Safari on the iPad is very crisp and fast. Also, the large screen of an iPad would be better if you have trouble reading/ looking at small pictures or objects.
I hope this helped you with your decision
