How to change the corrupted students' mind?

In my country, many primary students speak rude and dirty words. Some of them even start to smoke. They often do that after the school time. There are many stories about the young students which act inappropriately. For example, there was a primary student living in a small village liked to tease mature woman and smoke. Sometimes, he whistled if there was a girl pass in front him. That kid was around 5 years old at that time. Most people considered this kid as naughty and uneducated boy. I'm wondering why those kinds of behaviors can be experienced by a kid? How to help them?....

Hi edev85 and welcome to myLot.
I suppose unless the parents get a better handle with this types of children there really here is not much anyone can do. It would be against the law for us to intervene and or try to discipline someone elses child.
So unless the parents create harsher rules at home this form of behavior will only get worse.

I think education really starts at home. What children do outside the home reflect how they are at home. Adults around children should also to be blamed for any bad actions from children. Children tend to copy or reenact what they see in people around them. Children are all angels and their innocent are destroyed not by thier own doings but with the circumstances they are in. Let us all help bring out the best in them by teaching them what is right and good!

The child acts that way because of what he was exposed to, probably by movies and the TV. If parents do not watch over their kids when they watch TV and see that they do not watch inappropriate films and channels, this is bound to happen.
Nowadays, most parents are busy with work, leaving their kids to entertain themselves with the TV and internet. This is the main reason behind their personality.
Kids smoking in most cases is because they have seen their parents smoking. Parents should be careful what they do in front of their children, for they pick up most habits from them.
I know there are many special counselors appointed by the govt for this purpose (stopping kids from smoking), but while they have results, i do not know if it is practical.
Engaging the kids in good company, sports, playground etc can help in the long run. Smoking does not have an easy solution. It is addictive, and children do not easily understand its bad effects even when told. Parents support is needed for this.

yes...it all depends on the person and his family and friends. First of all you raised this question now..dont mind...just want to clarify it. Do you think you are in the right way towards others. I think i am not sometimes but most of the times i dont use rude language but will may be harsh in what i say..but i mean to say the truth to others.
In the similar fashion many of our elders would try to do the same to make us in the right way..but the rude language is not suggestable and this is carried on to the students. So pls be friendly to ur friends and also make others know the importance that we need to be good to get help from others.
By the way WELCOME to MYLOT...happy MYlottinG
