I have my ipod and wanted to play it in the car. But I don't have a mechanism to do that. However, I have discoverd a little hole in the dash called "AUX" which is simply a jack plug socket. I connected my iPod from it's headphone socket to the AUX hole and hey presto - one IOPd playing through my car speakers! I am amazed at my technical ingenuity! LOL. Have you discovered anything new recently?

Necessity is the mother of invention! I compensate for things all the time, making things serve other purposes or finding ways to reuse them completely. It's satisfying to figure out something, especially when it saves money!
What do you listen to on your iPod?

I was listening to Pink Floyd on my travels this past weekend. And Alan Parsons. It was like taking a vacation with great guitarists.

I discovered some blooming flowers today.
They were up and across the street.
They're always the first to appear, and since they're out, can spring be far behind?

hi pikey you are really getting with it in the technical know how. I however am a technophobe for sure. yesterday we had a partial power outage here at noon in Gold crest. one big elevator wou ld not work and the little one worked in a fashion with one tiney light in it and groaned on its way up but it did get up to the second floor. so I go into my room oh oh computer is off. so I reboot and oh yes I was kicked
off the net. so I reset modem and router. reboot and start mylotting and wham all the lights and computer and all go off. forty minutes later we have power again and again I have to shut down reset modem and reset router, turn on co mputer reboot and wow I did it I am now on the net again. so much for my techiphobe stuff.I c an reset the modem and the rou ter. wow.

I am going to try this, the next time I am out with my mother. Do you need a special cord to do this, like a head phone cord with a jack plug on both ends? Inevitably we'll go somewhere, and she'll run into the bank or a store to get something. I'll sit in the car, because I don't feel like running around in the store. Then when she comes out, I'll be sitting in the parking lot with my iPod plugged in, turned up, and Croatian music blasting from her speakers! :) Now that'll be something different. :)
