I like to shop online a lot when I have the money. Sometimes you can find better things online then you can in a store. Don't get me wrong I go shopping at the stores around me here in our town. You can say I like to shop online and off line. What is the best way you like to shop? What is your favorite shop?

I don't like shopping online as I often need to see what I am buying. I don't buy clothes..have to try them on first. But...couple stores now are doing where you can buy online and return at the local store ...no more paying for postage to ship them back. What a killer that was!
But still...things just look different "online" than "in person" so I prefer shopping for things at a store. But I do shop for things like DVD/CD's and books and the like online. Nothing different there from in the store and often cheaper. I do online surveys and things that pay with a Amazon.com gift card and collect them and then buy TV shows and such on DVD. Nothing worth watching on TV anymore so I like watching the "oldies" when TV was good!
But I think that so many do shop online nad with the new "return at the store" option...online shopping will take a larger audience. However....that will only start the closing of stores as if everyone is buying on line, no one in the stores...and that means that there will be no more returning at the stores, so there goes the savings on postage. Plus, you know how many people that will put out of work? Good and bad to everything, I suppose. I am just not a new-millenium kind of person...I'm still back in the 20th century and don't much like this new one!

I go to a store, and try on jeans, find the size/brand that fit right and go back to the rack and take 4 more pairs of identical jeans. Once home, I try them all on before putting them in the washer...and one out of the 4 fit! Others are to short, to tight or to long! And they are all idential! So I have to find the right pair, then try on how many I want...and usually ahve to make 2 trips to the rack to get more of the same size! Can y ou imagen buying online with this problem!!! But what I will do is for things like appliances and things that are "as seen", I will go find what I want, then go to an online store through a points system program, buy the item, have it either shiped to the store and I pick up there or ship home and then I spend the same, but get the points per dollar and cash out for gift cards!
I would have loved living in pre-civil war days! Then spin me to the 50's and the the 70's...my teen years were there and it was great!

I understand what you are talking about when it comes down to jeans. Because as you said when you take them home and wash them they shrink on you. That is a problem. That would be a big problem buying them online then shipping them back more then once. I read into a lot of history about kings and queens. Always have. Loved what they wore back then. They had beautiful clothing. But not a lot of people new why they wore clothing that thick and long. I do and it wasn't pleasant.

I understand that. I normally no what size I wear but some companies makes sizes different. Paying for postage to send clothes back would be a pain. I shop for a lot of things online. And I also shop at stores here to see things I need and want. I like watching the oldies on TV to. This stuff they have on TV now I don't like to well. I think stores and online sites make real good money. I understand about not like this century I don't like it either. I love buying clothes from back in the king and queen days. And also love the country long dresses from back when Little house on the prairie was on. I should have been born back then and not now lol. I am in the wrong century.

Most of all I enjoy shopping for souvenirs when I am traveling overseas. I found a lovely market to shop in when I was in Cartagena De Indias. There I bought a porcelain doll and a wooden Chivas Bus. This is a colorful traditional sort of bus that I had a ride on. At the Bovedas I bought a couple of costume dolls for my collection of dolls from around the world.
When I am at home I like to shop on the Internet and in shops in my locality. I especially like to go to Bristol to go to a shop called Ikea. I love going around the crystal shops in Glastonbury. The best shopping experience is to look around shops in a place I am not yet familiar with. Last week I went to Exeter to do that and had a lovely time shopping.

That would be nice to travel over seas and collect things from different places you have been. I like collecting stuff. Never had the money to travel over seas or to any other country. I bet those dolls you got are so nice. I like shopping online and in stores around here. I try to look for new places to shop at and to see what they have. Some places can be very high priced. I am glad you had a great time shopping.

I buy online and off line at stores around me. Somethings can be cheaper at a store then online. And there are things you want that you can't find at stores so you have to check online to find what you want. If things are cheap at the store I will buy it. I buy the mains of my clothes at the stores.

I shop both places online and at stores in my town. What one place doesn't have another place should. I have found lots of nice things online from books, DVDs, games for the computer, Computer parts when you are building a new computer, Clothes, candles, soaps and lots more. But I also shop at stores here I like. Like Bath and body works they have perfumes, lotions, gift sets, lots of other things as well. I have heard in foreign countries its pretty cheap to shop at. I love tea sets and nice things from other countries I would like to start getting. Online its very high in price to get them.

I do the same thing. I spend money in shops here and also online. I like to meet others as I am shopping at the stores. But some stuff is cheaper online then in the stores. I like looking at stuff and if something catches my eye that I want and if I have the money I buy it.

I really don't think its bad in price at all to shop online. To me it would be the same as taxes being added to what you buy at stores. I shop both places online and at the stores. I like doing both. Mains of my clothes are from the store. House hold cleaning things I get at the store.

Now that I agree with. I love shopping there to. Me and my husband just got a new furnace from ebay. And I just got a couple things from there to. They deliver very fast at that. It takes me 2 days and I have my stuff already delivered to me. Ebay is a nice place to shop.

I like to shop both online and offline as well. Sometimes you see something you like but there might be one detail you don't liek about it, you go home, search for it online and find one similar that you like more that might also be a better deal. There are so many stores around me here though and some have some great clothes for cheaper because they are hand me down clothes.
I'm working on trying to save up some money so that I can go shopping for more clothes, especially since I am also trying to lose a little weight.

I've been shopping online for electronics and stuff for quite a while now but recently I just started shopping online for clothes, and I must say I love it! As you said, there's a much bigger variety of clothes online and loads of sales and discounts too.
Most of the time when I shop online I usually do big hauls rather than buy one or two items at a time, which of course saves on the shipping charge and then that way I get all my things at once.
I love shopping on Ebay! Over the past few years I've bought a lot of stuff from Ebay, but none of them to do with clothes. One day I was looking for a specific pair of jeans and I couldn't find them on my usual shopping websites so I decided to give Ebay a try and oh god I got the perfect ones for only £3.40 (plus delivery charge)! So yeah you get some really good steals there especially in the auctions! :)
There are disadvantages to online shopping though of course. You never know if the item of clothing is going to fit right and sometimes the actual thing varies quite a bit from the picture on the website. So I do still love shopping around in stores A LOT. But online shopping can be very useful! :)

I shop online for tons of different things like you do. Just ordered a bunch of stuff for my computer to be rebuilt. I just bought a dress from back in the king and queen days on ebay and it was brand new. So I order the rest of the stuff to match the dress and the stuff was back from those days to. I just ordered a pair of boots online they cost like $59 and at the mall to get those boots would be $200 for them. Big ouch. I love the bargains they have online. Sounds like you got some great deals on what you wanted.

Hi,
I used to be shopalholic, but I never shop
online, I prefer to go down to the stores for my
shopping, At least, I have the chance to try out
the things, see the materials and the exact colour before
making my purchase.
In my whole life, I never shop for clothes and bags online,
maybe I should say, i never do any online shopping before.
I am always worry about the size and the quality of the good and
sometimes not that worthy to pay for the delivery charges, unless
I buy few pieces.
Nowadays, I hardly out for shopping, since I am not earning any income
at this moment, I better spend wisely and only buy on necessary
things.

I understand that. Its nice when you can try things out before you buy them. I don't buy many clothes on line But Renaissance clothes you can not find in shops around here. Those kind of dress are back when kings and queens ruled. And I just fell in love with the clothes back then. With me working online I like to save the money then shop for what I want or need.

wow that was not nice for them to cheat you on a camera. I just bought a brand new one on ebay and its great. Sometimes it is wise to go to shops around you and to see what you are getting into. Examine the product well before buying it. Who ever it was should never have cheated you on your camera. God bless you to.

I love shopping online as well, the selection of stuff is generally great and it is so convenient too! But I shop in regular stores as well. Online, I love Ebay and Net-a-porter, as well as ASOS, and offline, H&M is my fave.

I like ebay a lot to shop at. I save my amazon cards to buy on the amazon site. But I have gotten lots from there to. I have shopped many places online that have great deals. I like shopping in some places in the mall. But the mall can have very high prices as well. Never heard of Net-a-porter before.
