What is an aurora site?

Hey all I am on a site called neobux, and they recently annouced a change that in my opinon has killed off the PTC, i will wait for next cashout, and then leave, because the combination of 0.1 cent per click, plus long load time for ads, with a currently $4 cashout, that will go up to $5 doesn't entice me anymore. But on the forum, people said that neobux was becoming an aurora site. What is an aurora site? Is it some type of scam site. Its just a phase i have never heard of before. They said something about neobux is a bux site, not aurora, if they wanted an aurora, it should be called neoaurura.... anyway, hope someone can explain what that was all about
