Are you more of a calm or angry person?

I think I'm more of an angry person but I have been trying to control for some years now and it's preatty much better. Becoming a Vegan also helped me. I believe in energy, after 6 months being a Vegan I started to realize that now I can count to 3 and think before exploding and my fiancé said it's true, that I've changed a lot. I believe the energy of fear and anger stays in the meat when we kill an animal to eat. But anyway, I hope I am being now in the middle, not so angry and not that calm wich I don't think I can ever be.

I am ill tempered before. But as I grew up, I become sensitive to other people's feelings and moderated my temper. Patience would also be developed if you always consider the general welfare, and when you start to think that by staying calm you enable yourself to enjoy life more than being angered for most times. :)

You are a good person. Considering other people's feelings is a great way to change a little the explosive temper. I think I hurted some feelings way ago and that really was another point that trigger the changes in me too. A angry person can really hurt when talked without thinking.

There are certain things though that would make me explode, but it's a rare case. And yesterday was the example. :)

Hello Katie, I don't know if the bad energy comes to us from the meat we eat. I've heard this theory before but I don't know if it is true. I still eat meat but I can also be calm. I'm genetically programmed to be a choleric type of person. But back in highschool when we first learn about the four types of temperament, I didn't like that I found myself being a choleric. I thought a phlegmatic person was more interesting so I decided to become a phlegmatic. No need to tell you how much effort I put in this but I think I succeded. Who doesn't know me well may think I have a phlegmatic temperament. I seem to be calm and observant but you won't like to be around me when the choleric ME comes to surface! I am usually ashamed of myself when I can't help myself being angry like this but thanks God this doesn't happen too often.

That's great. I thought it was a theory but after watching my self and even the love who is close said so, and other people that are not that close but said I'm different. I'm starting to believe that everything has energy and specially what was alive like an animal for example. It's really because the facts, I could NEVER be calm, that's what's funny. Great you are calm, calm people always are in control the longest, cause they are the ones that are still thinking! LOL, when we get angry it's really hard to think after that.

I would call myself a calm person..most of the time..but I can be pushed, it takes a bit but when I do get angry its massive,,, thank heavens these days not much gets me to that point....

Being calm is way better, it takes maturity to be a calm person. But that's true, everyone have their little buttons :D

I am mostly a calm person, but I tend to hold my frustrations inside which can build up to an angry release. This rarely happens though and when it does, or I feel the tension building, then I know I need to spend the day away by myself somewhere in nature. This always brings me back into balance.

I had been confronting the same prolem.I speak a little,but I used to lose my temper so easily that my lover complained me about that,and now I've changed a lot.We have right to get angry,but anger can only spoil both the things and our health,we must learn to hold our own before anything.

same deal here! i tried to change a lot because of the love, he was always that calm when I got angry that I started to feel stupid and trying to control more. but really I couldn't. after being vegan and breathing for like 3 to 10 seconds I can actually think now before explode, lol

Hi all, I am a very calm person unless I'm provoked, and even then it takes a lot before I REALLY lose my temper.

that's great cause calm people always have control for the longer time, when someone get angry I think they loose it all.

I'm not a calm going one, yeah at times i am only when my mood isn't that good , if people bother me much at that time then i turn angry...but basically i am a easy going one.

Hi katie: First of all: congratulations for being a Vegan. I have tried lots of times to do this but it's almost impossible to me. In my case I am a calm person so I think that even if I haven't passed through this process my personality has helped me . However, soem people say that I'm too calm and that is good to show agressivity sometimes to defend your own rights. I think they're right but I don't like discussions. ALVARO

Iam the type of person who gets mad easily. Maybe people who had wronged me before contributed a lot to how Iam right now. I guess its a self defense kind of thing.

It's good that you have your anger under control. For me, My mood seem to be influenced by who I'm around. People with very little commonsense anger me. I just can't believe how frustrated I get with these people. Other then that I think I'm a calm person.

I think I'm more of a calm person. I wasn't always been able to let out no matter how mad or angry I am inside. I don't want usually want my anger to cause me any further trouble so I have to control as much as possible. The only problem is that when I let it out then I let it ALL out. I don't always want to regret what I've done because of my anger. I usually think what it will cause me if I let my temper burst out and so that way it helps me calm down.

The most important in life is to keep a calm heart.Without a calm heart,the other elements of health,love,beauty,talent,power and fame would all turn into a terrible torture.I seem to have found out the source of my current torture of mind.What I lack,first of all,is a calm heart.So I will learn to be a calm person.

Yeah I pretty much see myself of a calm person most of the time. I find it easy when I am going hiking or working out to calm myself and just breathe especially when there is a lot of stress involved. I think that stress can cause anger in a person and that can be very true being a Vegan and it stabilizing your energy and becoming more mellow and calm. I myself eat meat and still find myself calm due to my hobbies that I do and just certain techniques I tend to do on a daily basis. I hope you find this useful.

i guess im more likely a relax and cool tempered person, i always think on both sides and all the option before i make any judgment, plus sometimes when i get angry i'll just sleep and when i wake up i'm not angry anymore, there are lots of instances that i sleep angry and when i wake up i forget that i'm angry and suddenly talk to the one who make me angry
