My dog's first word.....AHW

I had a shitzu that used to say moma and I also had a cat that would let me know when she was out of food I sadly had to get rid of them landlord said no more pets and now I wish I would have done something different.

Hello xien2xien, Your sweet story remembered me of my first dog. She was, like your Vhexien, a quiet puppy. When she was about four months, I took her to my parents' place. She was never there before, in fact, at that time, she had never been in another home but ours. My parents were not at home but we entered the house and waited for them. I was hungry so I started to eat something, when I heard the key in the entrance door. My father was coming home. But the surprise was not that. The surprise was that my quiet Nera started to bark furiously at the door. I hadn't heard her barking until then. She was so furious that an intruder dared to disturb us from the meal time! I remember my father was shoked, he thought he entered the wrong house , because he didn't expect to hear a dog at the other side of his door. Luckily, Nera didn't become a noisy dog. I could hardly hear her barking now and then. But you should be prepared for a noisy dog, as little dogs tend to bark at anything. Still, I hope I am wrong and your sweet Vhexien will not become a noisy little dog.

What is your dog, is it a shih tsu? Chinese loves shih tsu dogs. Me too. I have had 5 dogs and the current dog is a poodle. It loves to bark at night and I will tied him at a corner, after that he no longer howl too!
