I am so wondering this because everytime I savor a great tasting brownie--even if it's just a small size (bite size), 2 hours after I really would have a migraine attack! Is it really because of the BROWNIES? Please share me your thoughts on this. Thanks.

I am not sure about this but I had heard from a friend (which she claims an information she got from her doctor) that chocolate could actually trigger migraine. So, if you have a migraine, you should probably moderate your consumption of chocolate. And if you are eating chocolate brownies, then I guess that proves the point..

hi mjmlagat perhaps its the tension that drove you to the brownie and thus the migraine not the brownie. I used to get migraines as a teen
from the stress over my parents loud quarreling. I would want something sweet to eat but then bam the migraine hit. I do not think its anything
in the brownie but something in your life that stresses you out. Unless you may be a diabetic and the brownie would raise your blood sugar level. I am no doctor but I do know upsets and stress can trigger migraines

Are these home-made brownies, or bought in a shop? Perhaps there is an ingredient in the brownies which sets you off. I would suggest that you try making your own and see if you still have a reaction.
