I have a cold! I am afraid that it is making me grumpy and as a result I am being uncharateristically spiky to those folk that strike me as being particularly daft. I'm quite enjoying it! Do you sometimes go on spiky sprees and is it reasonable to challenge odd thoughts or should we go with the flow?

Never suffer fools gladly, mr. sir. Don't get cross and spikey with me though, I like being daft. Challenge all, it makes life more interesting.

Oh yes, I get spiky at times! I usually hold my tongue, both real and virtual, but sometimes I do lose patience and spout off. I try to keep it polite, though.
Colds are such an annoyance! I haven't had one for a long, long time but I remember being miserable for more than a week. I hope you feel better soon. A nice cup of tea with some honey and whiskey works wonders. A few of these and you won't care how you feel!

Usually I'm feeling spikey toward certain people rather than everybody and everything, but I do get into "mad at the world mode" now and then.
Hope you feel better soon.

Hello pikey.
Man I am now hungry for fish after seeing your interest avatar picture again - i am thinking of a nice cod fish or something :D
So being sick, eh ? Makes me quite grumpy as well, and further inclined to give out negative ideas and thoughts as a result if i am bugged at that time.

Don't like Dafty Ducks, eh? Gonna make this short, just in case I'm on the list. Hope your cold is feeling better soon. Have some nice chicken soup, and a dish of ice cream. Always works for me. Ginger brandy is good, too. Then it wouldn't matter if people were dafty or not.

So is that why there have been a lot more discussions from P!key than usual? You have been laying low inside, so you have had more computer time? And I guess the spikeyness needs to be vented in some way, so discussions are a great release!
Your spikyness due to feeling sick reminds me of when I used to be a bit of a late night partier on weekdays in my youth. I would go to work all hungover and tired and feel reckless and free to vent any pent up frustrations that had been building in me with the workplace.
I do not think this behaviour is right, but it sure felt good at the time! (apart from the hangover bit)

Oh, yeah, I did that too. Working on cars when drunk was not really a safe thing to do.
Yep, I struggle to get past 9.30 most nights, but I am usually awake at 5am most morning automatically. That is my busy time on here before the rest of the family wake.
