i am working on MYlot from the morning and didn't see news. Recently i received a message from BBC Flashnews: "Japan Govt confirms radiation leak at Fukushima nuclear plants.Asian countries should take necessary precautions. If rain comes remain indoor first 24 hours. Close Doors & windows. Swab neck skin with betadine where thyroid area is, radiation hits thyroid first.take extra precautions. Radiation may hit Philippines at starting 4 PM. please forward this message to as many as possible". Is this right. will we have to live within fear of radiation ? what will happen in future ? machine made for development of life is now going to finish life.

I got this message yesterday. I think you shall not be worried about the atomic blast so much. By the way, I am from Guangzhou, China. Japan is still far from here. And Philippines is further. In fact we shall feel relaxed because the long distance keep us safe from the radiation. Even if there is a radiation, but it will not be harmful for us when it arrives here. We shall be worried about the second hand smoking and the car pollution much more. I love China

Ok, I know that sensationalism is a good business and it's what sells, and that's why many newspapers make up news, so they will sell more, but there is NO danger in other asian countries because of the nuclear plant in Fukushima. I live in Japan and I'm not in danger either, as I live kind of far from the nuclear plant. I wish the newspapers stopped lying.

Well,i think more or less, we all will be affected. Of course, the nearer you are to japan, the more likely you got more radiation. In this event, we all can realize that everything has two sides, nuclear power has give us huge energy, it can also destroy us. So i think we should be cautious. There are still lots of countries are trying to develop unclear power, for such a well organized country as japan, still can't control it, how about other countries, especially those poorer and underdeveloped countries?

Everyone is afraid that nuclear remainings will fly by air to nearby lands. Specially who lives here for sure, but other countries are very worried. Maybe it's time to discuss if nuclear energy although clean is really an option, maybe humankind should not touch in nuclear facilities until be able to control it.
