Hello Mylotters,
I saw a clip awhile ago and decided to start a topic for this actually this event happened in 2003 and i am glad that this cruelty is over now i hope so.... I almost when i saw the video clip i am really sad how can a man stand to kill an innocent one just to get the ivory and kill them for no apparent reason
But good thing that the government take an action regarding this matter as i saw in the clip they took the elephant's ivory and kill them after wards i know they have a family to feed and they also want to survive but not in this way killing those elephant are really sick i hate to see their eyes crying if they can only speak for sure they will beg for their life. If this creature make any trouble i think there is a better way to catch them not to the point of killing them.
God created this wonderful creature with purpose how can a man cannot understand that this animals need to survive too and i think we can live in this world without killing them.

This goes against humanity. I took at look at the video and find it so cruel. I cannot understand why people do such acts and or simply live straight lives after committing such horrid cruelty.
Like everything in life we do not have to like people/elephants but we certainly do not have the right to end thier lives.
Sad and thanks for sharing the link.

Goes to show that in life there are good and bad, sadly for the animals who cannot defend themselves.
Thanks for my BR!

In my country and state killing elephants, deers , peacocks, taking away the tusks, horns, feathers have become so common, officers of forest department are involved in this.
They leave the huge animals to rot, this produces pollution in the entire area..
Thanks for sharing the link
Cheers.
BE HAPPY ALWAYS.

I'm also very sad when seeing people deliberately kill elephants and take the tusks. I think the government should take action to punish people who do that with a heavy fine or penalty.

It is still happening to some extend. Enough that the genetics have shifted so more elephants now don't have tusks.
The only thing to do is never buy ivory unless it is definitely antique, and support programs that give people in these areas other ways to make money. Like eco-tourism.

hi psyches,
i agree with you as long as there are tusks buyer this cruelty will not stop, alternative job will help them they also should be oriented about elephants and other animals about their purpose in this world.
thanks for the response
