I switched from IBC bank to the Frost bank, which is a small bank (but plenty big enough to hold all my money) When I was with IBC I had to have a minimum of $1500 in my account at all times, else-wise I would have to pay a charge for my account. My account at Frost is free with no restrictions on my account balance. No Charge for a checking account. There are several more good reasons to use a small bank, and to stay clear of the Big banks!

Hi rockyrm
Well the decision has to be for convenience as well as the advantages. Weigh out what advantages and disadvantages you get from both. Make a list and include on the list if there are rewards of any kind.
I have both and tend to stick with Chase, simply because I do get better rewarded, no fee and I can virtually use atm almost anywhere I go.
Best of luck with your decision.
