Software for making music.... bad Idea???

Ok, i make my own music on FL Studio on my duo montitor computer (not the one im using now), and recently I have been getting alot of heat and hate towards that saying that i do not play any real instruments and that i shouldnt even be in music. Yet, some people say that there is nothing really wrong with doing that. I personally do not see anything wrong with making music on a computer. I just see it as an alternative to instruments. So, my question is this, Is it a bad thing or good thing to make music on a computer and not play anything, or is there really nothing wrong with it? and what are your thoughts on it?

No not a bad idea, when you can't play a musical instrument, you just don't. You will find some who will actually appreciate you.

I wouldn't think its too bad, I mean if you can't play an instrument... you can't play an instrument, so its probably not that bad but what you have to remember is that no matter what you do there will be haters. Even if you do compose and play music on a real instrument there will be those who say you suck even if you are really good. Just keep doing what your doing and just ignore them.
