Inter Milan proved tonight that despite maybe not being as good a team as they were last year they can still fightback and win to move into the next stage of the competition. With Inter Milan doing it the hard way just to make things even more interesting with a bright start with an early goal only to let Bayern to score two goals and appear to be coasting to victory but Inter remained strong and came back to win with the help of the away goals rule. Well done to Inter Milan . Manchester United also showed that they can know how to take their chances after riding their luck against Marseille who could only manage to score when it was almost certainly too late which prove to be the case in there fixture. Javier Hernandez once again showed his quality and is certainly proving very his worth since his summer arrival . A good victory for United will this be a signal of intent and will they win the League and FA cup this year? Who knows but still a good result for United and as a fan I'm happy to be going through to the next round .

i think Inter Milan won't be the same as last season. Leonardo, the manager, came in just before the christmas break. it will take more adaptation in CL than in Serie A. the pressure is different. but football is not math, everything can be happened. While Man. United, 'luckily' met Chelsea, one of the team that can beat 'em in Premier League this season. it will be a tough game.

Leanardo has the Inter team playing well again it seems and they appear to be back to the winning ways of last season. I'm not saying they'll win the champions league nor Serie A but they have improved under him and they've shown a never say die attitude especially against Bayern Munich who went a few goals ahead of them . Their always going to have a chance with such fighting spirit though . Manchester United I think will be put out by Chelsea as a United fan I hope not but can't wait until the match is over and done with so they can continue to focus on their league title ambitions .

Couldn't agree more with you...Inter Milan has proven to the world that they are worth to be European champion last season, although personally I am not in the opinion that they will go through before...Nevertheless, it is a good away win which is hard-fought and deservedly-earned for Inter Milan ...For United, they fought well even without their two first-choice CB Vidic and Ferdinand...Good goals from Chicharito and perhaps unlucky own goal from Brown... I believe they will win all their fronts...Glory glory Man United!
