Are you willing to share your extra belongings?

Do you have a hard time closing your cabinet because its inside seems to have as much clothes as a garment factory? Maybe you need a little trimming here. You perhaps need to share some of the extra contents with those who barely have a shirt on their backs. After all you can wear only one shirt at a time.

I do have a lot of clothes but am keeping some of them just in case I fit into them again, and others for sentimental reasons. Right now I really need to figure out a system to get all of my clothes looking neat. I'll have to buy some containers or something to help me with that, and which I intend to do when I have the money to do so.
Of course donating is good and I have done that in the past and will most certainly in the future.

I have a little sister.some of the clothes that don't fit me anymore,I give them to her.some clothes,I donate to good causes.I usually edit out my closet at least once or twice a year.sharing my clothes makes me feel good.I can share my clothes to my sister and to others.at the same time,I can free up my closet space and give space to buy new clothes.

Good point! I clean out my closets and my kids' closets regularly, and donate lots of clothing to charities, but still my closets seem to be overflowing! Part of the problem is hanging on to things that USED to fit, and that I am hoping will fit again one day! But you are right, we should all do a better job of sharing with those who have less--or buy less ourselves.

Every new year, my husband, daughter and i would review all our clothes , shoes and bags for what are those that have not been worn by us. Then, we would group it and i will bring it to my sisters who have sons and daughters. There, they will choose what they like. Whatever is left will in turn be given to poor people in the neighborhood.
That way, our not-so-worn things are not wasted and have made somebody happy to have them.

good point! i do have a cabinet that you hardly can close because of so many things and garments. i do regularly clean them but since i like shopping a lot, its always a disaster! some of them i already gave to my friends and relatives and i bet they really love it because of good quality.. next time i'll give it to the charities..
