Who is the best team till now in this 2011 world cup??

I am from South Africa and I think we have a good team, perhaps even the best? The only thing is we are "chokers". We don't have the BMT (Big Match Temperament)that teams like Australia have. Thus my view changes to the most likely team to win namely : Australia.

I agree no single team has really stood out this world cup. But even amongst equals, I think Australia have been the most consistent. That is why they are still unbeaten in the world cup whereas all other sides have lost at least one match. It would be interesting to see their match-up against Pakistan this weekend. Cheers! Ram

I think the best team in the world cup has been New aealand . yes . I am from india i love my team but i think as far as Kiwis were performing in last one year and being topping the group at majority days is an awesome thing for them . I will rate pakistan the next and 2nd rated best team till now then comes South africa and then india. my ratings for the teams outof 10 are :- 1- New zealnd :- 9 pts 2- Pakistan :- 8.5 pts 3- South Africa :- 8 pts 4- India :- 7 pts 5- Australia :- 6.5 pts 6- Sri Lanka :- 5 pts 7- West Indies :- 4.5 pts 8- ireland :- 4 pts 9- bangladesh :- 3.5 pts 10- all other associates.

Well , yea i agree with you no teams perform upto the mark but if you see , all the teams are trying their best to be in quarter final and more likely trying to play wit weak teams. Therefore , the team can not perform upto mark...however , I will give credit to South Africa to have a good teams ...

Most of the team played good and bad both.But it is difficult to say who is the best team right now.But if you say to choose then i will say Australia the best and playing good now.They have the ability to again regain their trophy.

My vote is for Australia, They are playing good. After that I will vote for south Africa then India. India has the capability to win this world cup but players failing to show their best. So In my openion these three are top and remaining teams are fighting well especially canada,netherlands,ireland performs very well.

Hi, First thing all teams played well. I am not talking about the regular teams like Eng, Pak, Ind, SL, etc but I am focusing on the associate teams and their performance. Only one cricket stadium and part time players but the show they exhibited was superb. Therefore in my opinion the best team in this 2011 world cup is the Netherlands.
