A friend in his need but not in my deeds............

Sounds like he isnt a real friend. :/ Just stay away from people like that. Learned your lesson. Move on. Best advice I can give.

I am so glad you post this topic....guess what i too just recently been treated the same way but mine was a female. The best part is she felt that the reason i help her because she believe i actually have other intentions. Can u believe that.......m the one who have the means and all but she who talk with full of air and have to walk miles to get to a destination on foot. Ignore them.....they probably have someone else at the moment to be used, wait till that person/s leave, our mean friend will crawl back and sweet talk to us like we dont know it.

Hi Faceless, When the tables turn and you find that you are the one that needs a little help, that is when you find out who your true friends are. I mean sometimes our friend really just can't be there right when you need them and for some very legit reasons. Doesn't mean they aren't really friends. But I have to say...ignoring your calls...that is just wrong. I would give him a shot at an excuse...there could be a good one?? I hope things get better for you, Faceless.

I know it hurts when people do things to you like this. But look at it in a different way: what happened only proved you and made you realize that this person is not a real friend. However, don't entertain any hatred in your heart. Everything happens for a reason. This person may not be able to help you for reason that might be justifiable but out of your knowledge. Just let go and forgive.

Hmm.. That indeed was very mean. But I think you really need to find out first, did he really not bother to help you? Maybe he didn't pick up your call because he was busy, or was not in a situation that allow him to pick up call, or whaever. Find out first if he really didn't care that you had problems. If he was. Well, If I were you, if I were mean enough or that friend was really that important enough, I'd just stop being his friends, just like that. Or alternatively, you can just start being normal friend only with him. Don't need to go until such lengths to help him with his problems anymore, or rather, next time make up some excuses when he asked for your help. On the other hand, if your guys' friendship is important to you. I'd suggest you demand his explanation and tell him how hurt you are by him. Then you think about how you'd regard this frienship after listening to his explanation / excuses.

Well If he needs my help next time, I would not answer my phone too...

Hi faceless girl, its to bad when people react in such a way, even i faced such situations many a times, then i made up my mind to not to over react when people reach me for favor , i will only do when i'm interested or else i'll just say good bye....sometimes i get frustrated due to such kind of persons, but yeah this is life, we'll meet every one and have to taste every corner of life.

For me yes it is not he kind of friend who is good because a friend that is true without condition to help by you true friend.
