Good methods to fall asleep

Lately, I've had quite a bit of trouble when trying to fall asleep. So far, all of the ways I've tried have not worked. What are some things or methods that you use/do when you are having issues or troubles falling asleep. Do you count sheep? Listen to music? Thanks ahead of time!

i am a horrible sleeper and what i do o sleep is focus on my breathing and that usually helps (clear your mind of everything) also, if i cannot sleep, i take melatonin.

Make yourself busy the whole day & I'm sure you would sleep the moment your head touched your pillow! Don't sleep on an empty stomach. It usually won't make you sleep. A hot milk before I sleep often works for me. Don't drink coffee. Clear your mind. If you are thinking about so many things, the more you can't sleep. Hope this helps!

Try to drink a warm glass of milk before you go to bed or play some mellow songs while in bed. Or do something that it will make you tired. Those usually works on me. :D

Hi,friend~ As far as I am concerned,I like to listen to music while I like to sleep.This could give I build good mood and sleep environment.When I'm asleep,I will take headphones.So I can be fast asleep~haha~ I hope it can help you~ Good luck,have a nice day~

Take a hot milk then watch T.V at low volume.

some people sleep better when they change the location of there sleeping somehow, or sleep somewhere else

Hi hunter, i usually watch a movie in my system or listen to some melodious songs or just text to my friends and find out who situation is like mine, and will have some time with them till i fall asleep, luckily everytime i find someone or the other....

For me just watch TV,and sound of music like you are in thither you can find sleep out of it try it.

whether you count sheeps or listen to music, if youre mind is so distressed, its impossible to sleep. However, healthy routines may help you to sleep well. You might want to go on a regular exercise in the morning and eat healthy foods. Also, is advisable that you try o deal with other people more properly because most people who cant sleep are the ones woh has problem with dealing with the society.

Lately i have bad sleep too.I always couldn't fall asleep before 2a.m. Maybe you have the same problems as me,just because of the trifles and presure of everyday life.All we can do is to work out them and find a new way to get happy again. Never too late for a fresh start. Am i right? Maybe.Hope it'll work for you,my friend.

Try creating an imagery of a nice scene to start your dream rolling. Put yourself in a setting where you can feel relaxed, doing things that are serene. Make each part of the imagery more real by touching, smelling and holding it. As you become more engrossed...add more items into your dream-like state like another location or another person you are close to...er...have I bore you to sleep already? Really, do try it...Imagery does help for me. Hehe

Well I think you have to find a good way to relax. everybody has your on way to do it. If you don't know yours yet so try dont do anything that need you to be excited..I don't like something that maybe you busy haha. I like to watch tv, read but I never listen to music because I think about parties and friends and having fun and etc. However if you like relaxing musics go ahead. the point is relax your mind . So your body will relax as well!

My doctor says we must set our brains in to a routine, the bedroom must be for sleep meaning no TV and not to have a computer in the room, go to bed the same time each night and maybe relax a little before bedtime.

Lie down. Take some long, deep breaths, slowly at that. Lie comfortably and relax your body. Count backwards from 100 to 1 [that is, 100, 99, 98, ........]. Count slowly; think/ visualize each number for a few seconds. Qyuite a boring job. That's what it is meant to be. Slowly you shall be yawning. Continue counting. ....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I have trouble getting to sleep each and every night.I have tried the bath before bed, warm drink, ipod in the ears with soft music,etc.I take sleeping pills and pain killers together, that helps, but if i wake up in the night due to pain on noise, well it is hard to get back off to sleep.

The best way to asleep well is reading book this is my own experience. I you are troubling in sleeping then if you take a book in your hand and read it then with in fifteen minutes you will sleep. Music is also a good way to sleeping well and the third one is you remember your God and take the name of your god again and again then you can sleep easily.

I don't think count sheep will work,listen to music maybe a good idea but it's not suit for everyone,i can't sleep not long ago because i had a pressure,i went to bed at 10 o'clock,but didn't sleep at 1 next morning. Although i counted sheep and drank milk and i also listened to soft music,all of them can't worked. So i go to bed early to 9,just read a boring book,and soon i'm asleep. I hope my ideas can help you.
