Dancing cheek to cheek

Oh, how I love to watch dogs playing! I think I'd do this for hours and still I wouldn't be bored. They have such energy and they are so happy that I borrow some of their happiness and, for a few moments, I forget about all the worries and all the bad things in the world.
I'm lucky because my dog, Binne, loves to play with any dog, no matter the size of her play mate.
One Sunday I took her for a play session in the schoolyard. She played with some of her friends and I took dozens of pictures. Unfortunately I don't have such a good camera so I didn't get too good pictures. Especially because I find it is quite difficult to catch a good picture of moving subjects (and dogs playing are quite moving targets! )
But this one I wanted to share with you, as I think this was one of the best pictures I took that day: Binne was dancing cheek to cheek with her friend, Blondu. Don't they look like dancing?
How about you, do you like watching dogs at play?
Do you find difficult to take a good picture of a restless dog?

Since I got my new camera last December, I found it is very difficult to get a good picture of both Penny and Ciara together. Though I have to admit, the pose Binne and friend are in, is typical for my dogs and I know exactly what it is like to watch dogs playing together like this. Sometimes when they play like that in the house, it gets overwhelming, but outside I love how they do play together..Too bad you are not closer, I'd love to get our dogs together for a play date....

Wow, I just realized my avatar picture, similar to your except it looks like Ciara is going to bite Penny's neck..Actually she probably was going to do that, since that is how puppies play...

I expected many pictures of Penny and Ciara since you got the new camera but you let me waiting. It's OK, I know you're busy with the school but I can't wait until you have time for this.
When I took the 'dancing cheek to cheek' picture I thought at your avatar picture. And I thought you, with two dogs inside, have the opportunity to see such sweet moments every day.

Oh yes, a day doesn't go by they are not locked in that position...lol Yes I have been taking the pictures, but it's the uploading that take time and then usually the pictures are too big, so I have to make them smaller to upload here. So it is a little time consuming. Plus like I said, since they have gotten bigger, to get both in one picture worth posting is nearly impossible, they're like little kids...

Hi Inu,
you are a good observatory of dog aren't you?
i never watch dog, but i ever have a cat. they act the same, they're touching their cheek to cheek and i don't know if they're dancing or not but i think that is how they express their love to each other

Hello Ifa,
I'm a good observatory of all animals. I remember when I was a child I spent days watching the hens. I imagined I could learn their language (and I did - I can understand their language but I can't communicate with them). I used to say I will become a specialist in grouse.
I think watching cats playing can be as fun as watching any other animal playing. They don't have bad feeling as we do and we always have something to learn from them.

Hello inu,
I used to have a dog and I adore him so much. But now, I don't have a pet dog but I still love looking at dogs especially if they are doing something. Like a trick or just playing with other dogs. If I have one, I would surely take a picture of them and maybe even video so i can watch them repeatedly.
Have fun mylotting!

Hello red_amethyst,
I can tell you that if you had a dog, you would spend all your free time watching him/her, not their photos.
I take tons of pictures with my dog but if you ask me if I have time to watch them, I'll tell you that I don't.
Anyway, having a dog is not a chore but a joy. I hope you'll be able to own a dog some day.
