Japan Crisis

There has been a lot of talk on the news about the Japan crisis and a lot of mis-direction i feel. Condradictions and so forth.
Without meaning to add to the confusion could we please discuss what we know as fact?
Also if anyone has an solutions and so forth it would be very interesting to hear regular peoples ideas

The only solution everyone could do is to first seek God's providence so that all those people still not rescued and maybe still fighting for their lives under those fallen debris. Not all have the physical and material ability to help but everyone could pray and prayers can move mountains.
