Dr. Yoon Ji Ho is a forensic doctor and considered as expert in the field of forensic investigation. His job is to find out the truth behind every death of the corpse. One controversial death is that by a famous pop star. He performed the autopsy and concluded that it was not a natural death but homicide/murder. The suspect is the ex-girlfriend, daughter of a very famous politician who's running for President. The witnesses to the crime were eliminated one by one and each and every single evidence got lost. Finally, Dr. Yoon Ji Ho decided to make himself a bait and ended up dead.
His death was his greatest sacrifice to find justice to the death of the pop star and the rest of the people who were killed in the process.
This was how my favorite Korean Drama sign ended. It made me think how far will i sacrifice for my career or my passion in life. Willi I able to give up my own life to achieve success?
My answer is NO. I don't have the courage to.

hello toni,
Maybe the Dr. never thought that he might be killed.
In some point...the Dr, knows that it would be risky, yet risk his life to solve the case.
If someone is too curious or too engrossed to know real evidence...they never think of having second thought ever risking their own life.
It's an individual choice...they are too brave.
I am not sure if i can do same thing...

The doctor has been trying to catch the criminal for years and in face he knew her very well and the way she killed her victims. At the last moment that he was with her, he saw the killer put poison in his coffee and yet he drank that. That's how he gained respect from his adversaries in the NFS.

Wow, that was touching. I don't think I can do that. I'm too selfish to do so! lol.
Anyway, While I was reading the summary, I felt it was too unrealistic and I was relieved you mentioned it was from your favorite drama.... I thought so! silly me.

No, even I wouldn’t put my life at stake for the passion of my career or hobby. There are people like Dr. Yoon Ji Ho though, who would take any risk just to follow a clue or prove a theory. I think they are a little mad, obsessed you know about proving themselves correct or otherwise…obsessed with getting to the bottom of a mystery. Such obsession is definitely not normal.

The story is great by the way. I think i wont be risking my life like this for justice. But i don't know for sure since we take the decisions at the last moment. But if there is really a man who is like this, then he should be praised.

For me, it would depend on the situation. I believe for a family or friend I would be willing to sacrifice my life. Just to find someone elses killer probably not. I would donate my corpse to science so they can use it to teach the medical community.

There is only one person on Earth I would sacrifice my life for - my daughter. I love her so much that I would do anything, even give my life, it this would help her in any possible way. As to career or someone else, definitely no. If it comes to my parents, I guess I would give my life and my best for them, too, but I don't think they would let me do it. No one else and nothing else would make me do it. Not to mention that I wouldn' have the courage to do it, if it wasn't my child.

You finished it already my friend? Well, yeah, I am afraid I also don't have the courage to give up my life for my career or passion. I guess it's normal though.
I would browse such series in the net after I'm done with what my officemates are endorsing to me now. They want me to watch, Baker King. :)

I'm sorry but he's not bored with his life at all hahaha!. In fact he has a budding relationship with Dr. Go Da Kyung, but for the sake of the forensic agency, justice and government he sacrifice himself. Oh i forgot to add that includes his dream too, and that is for the NFS to be able to function honestly.
