If you can have a chance to learn martial arts, what kind of martial art that you prefer? I like Wushu like in fearless, because inside it, there is a secret philosophy which can enhance our life too. Wushu is cool. Many Chinese artists preform Wushu in their movie. How about you? What will you choose?

I have studied a number of different martial arts, although, I obtained my Black Belt in Karate/Kung-Fu when I was in my late teens.
The most recent art I've studied is Hap-ki-do, and especially like the most. It is a Korean self-defense art which dates back to the end of World War II. Hapkido evolved from Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu, and is "somewhat" similar in form, to that of Ai-ki-do...the art used by Steven Segal.
It is a more relaxed form of self-defense, in that it teaches one how to defend oneself by using your opponent's energy against them. It also encompasses the use of rounding kicks, joint locks and throws. The more advanced studies teach the student how to use swords, canes, sticks, rope, at close fighting distances.
Other famous persons who trained in Hapkido were Billy Jack, and Chuck Norris. As a matter of fact...I was taught this amazing art by the very same Master who taught them. I didn't find this out until much later, until one of the other students had mentioned it. When I questioned my Master about it, he reluctantly admitted that he WAS the one, but did not want to be identified with the film industry as a celebrity.
My Master is very old, although he still hold classes to this day, no too far from where I live.
