hamsters-convincing speech

i just can't think of a convincing speech to tell my parents... were having a meeting tonight about getting a second hamster. i already have one but i wanted another to add to the family. i just can't think of a speech to convince them that i'm responsable enough to have 2 hamsters at a time. i was thinking about rescuing one from lollypop farm, i would pay for the cage and hamster, and i would be a more responsable person around the house. i need a speech with all that. can anyone give me some ideas or help me write one. im so clueless
